Grace I was wondering that myself and just what do they mean by closed set. Someone said it hasn't been done since Jason's season and we know what happened at that ATFR! Something just doesn't smell right! no no

I'm sensing a set up! :skeptic:

How long did Chris date his last gf? I'm really surprised some lucky girl hasn't already taken him off the market. (before the show)

I'm not sure how long he dated his last girl friend but someone on the ABC board said they broke up around 4 months before he went on the bachelorette.

Ali and Roberto also had a closed set ATFR. I think to hide the F1.

If I remember correctly RS didnt get that one until almost the end.

But it has been announced as a live ATFR. No need for a closed set to hide leaks, they watch the finale when the East Coast does.

I don't get why they would need a closed set seeing as the AFTR is live. Jason and Ali's ATFR were pre-recorded meaning a closed set was necessary to prevent leaks.

Clearly preventing leaks isn't the reason for a closed set because the audience will see the ending at the same time the Easy Coast sees it, after which it's not a leak, it's public information.

But haven't they "closed" the set to the public so they could stack the studio audience with actors /actresses once before? Presumably this was so they could control the audience reaction to what they would see and not contend with boos or catcalls from an audience who might not totally like what they would see.

Lucas' post makes sense to me. Controlling who is there so they can control the reaction. What would they boo about? Her rejecting Chris late in the game, when Brooks has been gone? What Brooks reveals in his talk with her? What else?
