I can honestly only hear her say this line to chris or drew "I'm there and I'm his and I want to give him the world"! I just don't see her sayin this to brooks considering he was having second thoughts!!!!! Wouldn't make sense at all!!!

What makes you say that???
I honestly feel for the final couple no matter who it is. If the spoilers are right and brooks returns an des chooses him.... Can you imagine the backlash they both will receive!!!!! Des shouldn't have lead the other two on like that( we see the pics of her fd with chris and yes that is leading him on)! Brooks will never marry her and he is not in love with her, etc etc!!! If the spoilers are wrong and she chooses chris or drew they will also receive backlash, heck there are several people here who haven't even watched the finale yet they say if she chooses anyone but brooks that its a default(maybe they should reserve this judgement until after we actually see it)! So yeah, I'm nervous either way for them!!!
bravo dear bestie!!
oh how i so wish all of the posters here share the same concern...maybe we can avoid the messiness approaching,at the finale and on the after math

She mentions needing someone active, who treats people well, is outgoing, etc. - fitting our Chris to a T. Just saying...
Don't know what the bombshell is or how any of it is resolved.

I think going to any of her "real" life interviews after the show wrapped or its airing begins, photos, tweets, online shows or magazine interviews, her blogs, Chris' blogs gives us clues into what she really found she needed in a husband. I believe we'd have better luck with those for finding out the F1 before it is revealed, not the convoluted mess we've seen in the previews...
It's not telling us anything solid. I just wish it wasn't so long until it plays out. Monday seems far away, and when it gets here I believe we'll be left with a cliffhanger. We may know more, but will still be on the edge of our seats wanting more.
Sign me...currently obsessed with finding out who she chooses and how it goes down
I agree, there is tons of post show evidence pointing to chris!!! All I know is chris looks great in his recent pics so we know he is happy and that is what we care about most!!!!
couldnt agree more on the bolded!!...
actually, looking at the intvw she also mentioned she didnt have to wait until 3 years to get married. when you know, you know. honestly, among her F4, i can see her getting married right away only either with Chris or Zak. and now Zak being out, only Chris left. She is also designing her own dress and mentioned spesific theme for her wedding : small, intimate and overlooking the ocean. As opposed to Emily, i believe Des on these ones. So yeah, needless to say, this is another evidence pointing to Chris, IMO.

The only thing holding me back from saying it's him for sure is the limo ride (fakeout for reject ride from producers, when it might just be him being nervous - perfectly understandable for our Chris?), those pesky spoilers and the fact Drew is the only one we haven't seen in a limo. Well, ok, a lot is holding me back, but I am cautiously optimistic.
You know TPTB must have someone on these boards and others and know about the sleuthing. I wonder if they orchestrate all the stuff we see on Twitter.
This lengthy… and windy… post isn’t much of an “answer” to yours, but I typed this up for somebody else, added more to it and might as well dump it here to confuse everybody to no end.
Prepare to sink deeeeep! Try not to drown… ha ha!
There seem to be four basic themes to this season:
Theme #1:
Chris Harrison told HollywoodLife that this season is a true Cinderella story. Most of us just assume it is a “rags to riches” story with Des getting a turquoise Bentley out of the deal. Yet the fairytale theme has been emphasized quite a bit… mostly in Chris’ scenes (i.e. she feels like a princess with him in Munich and his trying on ladies shoes that don’t fit in the Mr. America pageant is a weird gender reversal of the Cinderella story if there ever was one). Also she brought up the word under the Hollywood sign with Brooks.
Things get pretty surreal and bizarre when you re-watch the promos.
At the start of the May 20th promo, she is seen with Drew in the first shot followed by her dancing with off-camera Chris in Munich over the line “I never thought this would ever be my life”. The key words “my life” are spoken over Chris. In the second promo for episode #1 on the 27th she says “I never thought this would ever be my life” over Munich shots (Harrison saying “welcome to your castle”), followed by a shot of her dancing with Chris over “now I’m in this life and it feels like a fairy tale”.
Apparently “this life” and “the show” involve two separate fairytales going on. In Madeira, while still absorbed into “the show”, Des quips: “Picture, like, the best dream you ever had and times that by ten and then living it. That’s where I am.” (Space Cadet! Space Cadet! Houston, where are you?)
On Chris' hometown, Becky emphasized that he must distinguish between the two by saying "but you are also not completely in the real world... what happens when you jump into that?"
Intriguingly, James’ drama was also about “the show” versus the “real world” (or ”reeeeeee-ality” as he bellowed with his pointy not-fixed-by-Doctor-George nose up at the ceiling). Only he was being more distorted in what he was seeking.
Of course, showtime fairytales vs. reality themes are nothing new with the Bachelorette. Emily and Ashley’s seasons casually, but not fully, ventured into this territory. Ali’s was much more pronounced: “life may not be a fairytale but love can be”.
Theme #2:
Des claims she always falls for people who don’t love her back. No problem with Chris there. He is very open in his PI discussions. Yet it may take her a while to realize that… or she may fall for somebody else faster than she does with Chris, like Ashley did with Bentley and Ali with Frank. (Whether that was actually “reeeeee-ality” doesn’t matter. Those were The Storylines.)
Theme #3:
Des also says she is serious about finding a husband. When doing the wedding dress-up, she compliments Brooks for “not taking it seriously”. Yet she is serious about somebody in regards to marriage and long term commitment… whether it is Brooks later on or with somebody else. Over Chris’ scenes in the pre-rose ceremony segment in episode #8, she says “I wanted everyone from the beginning to take this seriously and really think about if I’m going to be the right girl for them”.
Theme #4:
Des told Mario on Extra! that she can be “in love” with multiple people. Two kinds of “in love” have been discussed on screen:
The “being in the moment” has been discussed with several guys (both by the guy and her). The Drew and Brooks dates have used this line frequently and the next big question is whether or not Des finds more than just “in the moment” with them. Chris has been spared this line so far.
In the promos, we hear the “I want to spend the rest of my life with him” kind of “in love”… but we have yet to hear it with anybody on the main show yet. In the promos, Chris is shown during these lines, but she also “feels complete” with Drew and “love this man” with Brooks too.

Another wacky story arc we’ve been “blessed” with:
http://popwatch.ew.com/2013/07/16/chris-harrison-the-bachelorette-episode-8-blog-3/
Two key lines of Chris Harrison:
Welcome to the hometown dates for Des and the boys. This was a very interesting and pivotal episode in many ways, and with all that was going on there were some things you may not even understand until you see the dramatic two-episode finale of this season.
When Des went to his [Chris’] house she quickly learned that all important things seem to take place with this family on a chiropractic table.
Both Des and Chris got treated there on his hometown date.
George says: “My first impression of Desiree is that she’s a good girl, but knowing that she’s been through a lot of ups and downs, this treatment promotes clarity. It kinda like refocuses you.”
These key words are… again… emphasized in the promos.
May 20th & 27th promos:
Des says “Because of what I went through, I did gain a lot of clarity” over shots of her with Drew and then Brad in Atlantic City beach, then Chris again as she says “you bring out the best in me”.
May 27th promo:
Desiree says “Y’know, the good, the bad, the ups and downs, this is the moment I’ve been waiting for” over shots of her helicopter date with Chris, followed by Brad, Mike G. and Drew… repeating a line in Madeira that Chris stated in PI form back in Munich. Then we get an edit cut to Chris dancing with Des in Munich as she says “after tonight”… and then, over shots of departed Bryden, “I want him down on one knee because I love him.”
(In Munich episode #5, Chris tells Des to say thank you to the crowd after they dance. The camera pans on Bryden standing there over Des’ “thank you”… for leaving, I guess.)
In two promos, Brooks says, as Desiree looks away from him in Madeira, the key words “refocus on what’s important”.
Side-note here: Both are having their cloud nine moment on the mountain top. As Brooks objectively tells us later in his hometown, he feels great when he is with Des, but loses something-something when they are apart. In his hometown, he feels "closer" to the "union" of marriage with her, but is still not certain... since, unlike what is mentioned above with Becky and Chris, his talk with Janice doesn't quite involve "the real world" yet. Although Janice considers him and Des "compatible", she also approves him bringing anybody "if you found the right person" into the family... not just Des.
I agree with Krisily Kennedy on the AfterBuzz show that a lot of what attracts many of us to Brooks is that he views this process with plenty of healthy caution. He is the polar opposite of Zak who was writing invisible poems in a journal before episode #2. This doesn’t mean I am attacking Zak for this, but both he and Drew seem to be speeding a little too fast through this show. Chris might have a little too, but at least he says he is "slowly" falling for her... and he got his nose fixed at hometown.
************
In the LATER promos, Desiree’s changing theme morphs into this:
“My fairytale is having a man by my side that loves me and who never gives up.”

I'm having a hard time believing the editors, CH, MF, etc.... put that much thought into every word they say and every voice over landing over just the right guy. Maybe so.. I guess after doing this for so many years they are very careful, but are they intentionally feeding us clues or misdirection or both? Hard to know when to see it as a clue and when to see it as nothing or misdirection, don't you think?
