I don't think he knows Des very well either...I'd bet she isn't going to settle on the guy that will give her the outright commitment unless he was the right one for her. I don't see her choosing anyone over Brooks unless she suddenly becomes just as smitten with them as she is Brooks, and frankly, I don't see that happening in the few weeks that are left.

I still think it's weird that Michael said Chris, unless a producer told him to.  You think he couldn't tell what happened from spending a weekend with Brookes?

Totally agree!  I mean they are supposed to be best buds.  Michael knows.

So if Michael knows..and they are best friends...would you spoil his secret? They are after all trying to keep things a secret . If someone wanted to out my friend, I'd lead you a different direction too. Right Nannymargie?

Could it also be that Michael knows it's Brooks and is being encouraged to keep the suspense there and say it's Chris? And maybe Michael doesn't know but based on the turmoil assumes it's Chris.

Micheal G did a radio interview and picked Chris S.  I'm telling you guys, Brooks isn't Final 1.

It's because HE wants Brooks for his own. :hidingchair 

Did you even listen to the interview or what?  Which state was that for? Florida or CA?

Were you able to listen, atem? The interview is by a philly radio station. I think you may be giving it more weight than it deserves, IMO.

Here's what he said about each guy:

Zak is a renaissance man

Drew - amazing guy, good friend more than meets the eye. Brooks and he would make fun of how perfect he was.
A Lot funnier than shown. Better than what you are seeing on the show

Brooks - Brooks and Des have the best chemistry. Des is obviously smitten. Brooks is a great guy.

Chris - Based on what he is seeing Chris has the edge because while Des doesn't have the same feeling Chris as she has for Brooks, Chris has already committed to her by saying ILY in the poem. They seem more on the same page.

For the record, the interviewer disagree re: Chris - doesn't see it between them. Thinks it will be Brooks and Drew in the end.

Thanks for the recap, sfrank. Sounds like is says absolutely nothing other than that Brooks and Des has obvious chemistry and he's speaking about what he sees on the screen right now.

And, I agree with the interviewer.

He basically said that same thing in the teleconference interview. If Brooks were Final 1, I'd think he'd say it's Brooks. He knows.

All I want to add is that, Michael mentions Des' feelings (smitten) in both interviews but doesn't say anything about Brooks feelings towards Des. He only talks about the obvious chemistry between them.

Chemistry has nothing to do with feelings.

I think it's great we can debate this stuff because it makes it more exciting. Des and Brooks elicit excitement. I think they have more dynamism in their pinky fingers than Emily & Jef ever did.

I am not saying the interviewer is correct, just letting everyone know that she disagreed with Michael on seeing anything between Des and Chris .

I would strongly encourage everyone to listen to it, if they can, before jumping to conclusions. Its a nice interview and Michael sounds very thoughtful and logical regarding everything he is saying, like a prosecutor weighing evidence of what he sees in front of him. Lots of cute stuff on Drew, if you are a fan as well!

   Thanks agentcurls... I agree. I don't know how it would be possible for Des to dismiss the feelings she has held for Brooks so fast. I think they are playing his slow emotional process to the hilt.. OMG  He's going to come around and when he does, it's going to be so darn hot.       :Woah-hoo:
