Bachelorette 9 - Screencaps/Photos - Spoilers - Discussion

I'm thinking that mystery Brooks cap is him before Desiree meets him for the HTD.

All I can say is, poor Brooks in that pic. His face is red and veins are popping out on his forehead. He's in some distress.

Don't think so, and even if it did it wouldn't be set up as one for filming- they come and redecorate the whole thing.  This article is a little old but I think the mansion is generally rented for events all the time and is basically empty otherwise.

Thanks Auntie. It's been reported that Brooks lives in his sister's basement. Do we know where his sister lives? I'm trying to determine is the weather where he lives supports the need for him to wear a sweater. In order words, could the SC have happened once he returned home and is then thinking that he's made a mistake and needs to go back??? Just throwing ideas out for speculations.:Smiley:

When was it filmed? Most likely. He'd be in Utah. Brrr. March, April, sometimes even May can be cold.

Yes, like I said elsewhere in my theory, it could be at his home after he left.

Soooo. This is what I think happens. Someone or more than one person in Brooks' family finally drives the nail in the coffin. He's really unsure. Des wants to question him. She decides to continue with him, takes him to Antigua (of course she will, she loves him), gets rid of Zac, but is really worried about where he's at.

So is he.

Something happens early on in Antigua. He may get some of his FD. He may get other dates. Who knows. But I think he goes home, on his own accord, or because Des sent him home, or just a mutual agreement. Neither of them are happy about it. We don't really know why, or what's going on.

I believe he goes home; his real home. The show goes on. The producers thinks it's going on, but Des is a mess, and CH wants to know what she wants them to do, what she wants to do.

Somewhere along the line she lets go of Drew, or he leaves. This might be a little bit devastating to her, too. At some point she gives up all hope and just wants to go home.

Chris is left and she lets him go. Her heart just isn't into it. She's left with no one, just like Brooks worried about earlier on in the season (and they left in for a reason). Brooks also said it would be an awesome ride (and they left that in, too).

The producers think it's one of those types of seasons, but alas, it isn't. Des wants to see Brooks. Of course. She can't let him go. She's in love. She wants to go get him. Either he's there, in Antigua, or he comes back, or she goes and gets him at his home (which I think would be so romantic). This is the reason for the extra time at the end. They have a heart-to-heart. They figure out where each other are. They have both figured out that they're in love. And maybe there (wherever there is), and then, Brooks proposes to her. Maybe it's not a conventional proposal. Who knows?

The spoilers are correct, and they're engaged to this day. Hopefully happily so. It was a VERY romantic ending and we can go

At least I think that'd be a good way for it to turn out and would definitely fulfill all the SCs, as well as the spoiler. There.

I will preface this by saying I have no horse in this race, and really not a fan of any of the guys left. (Juan Pablo  ) But I honestly don't see the big deal about him living in his sisters basement, if that is the case. He's obviously close with his family, and its a scenario that probably works for all involved. Now if he was over 30 and showed no signs of settling down or moving out, then I'd start to wonder. He has a good job and his job would pay quite well, so I don't think its a case of he's a bum and can't afford it.

I think he answered the question of why he might live there. He told Des that he wasn't sure where he wanted to live yet; that his life is kind of up in the air. Makes sense, then, that he's not going to want to be buying a house and if his sister has room in her basement, why not? He could save that money to buy a house.

It appears they're all in the SLC area though I don't know who lives with whom.  His SIL has a blog and Brooks did a video on it recently of his nieces and nephews.  I *think* he is from Boise, ID originally and his mom still lives there.  But sophie would know better on all of this, I'm just trying to remember tidbits.  sophie, do you where the location of the HTD is and who's house that is?

Either way, it would have still been fairly cold.  And that isn't a TPTB produced background.  And we have no date caps of him in Antigua beyond Meltdowntown.  But if Brooks did go back to SLC before the end of principal filming, wouldn't we have gotten wind of that from people on the ground?  Bah, all I for sure so far is this isn't adding up yet.

I do not think it is a big deal either, at all.
I was wondering if that is a place that could be considered for the one picture we cannot figure out.

I agree to this all . . . being from Utah.

Brooks is originally from Idaho. His mom lives there (and I think a couple of his siblings). The rest live in Salt Lake. His father lives in Texas. Brooks lives in Salt Lake. His HTD was in Salt Lake, and yes, it could've been chilly, knowing Utah.

It doesn't look like a show-produced backdrop. That was always my view.

I think he goes home.

Then there's no way that the show would fly him back!  

It could have been a PI before Desiree got there.  Plus, I don't think that cap is where they had the HTD.
