Re: Drew Kenney - Bachelorette 9 Contestant - Discussion - Thread #4
I found in another thread this tweet from Nate, the Des' brother :

Considering what he seemed to think about Sean, I wonder what guy could fit better to Nate's definition of a "really nice guy".
Any thought ?

I'm sure any of the 3 guys could give Nate that opinion.
"Nice" doesn't mean much to me. That is the first word that basically comes out of the mouth of neighbors/friends/acquaintances etc when someone is referring to another---as in victim or perpetrator. "I can't believe ___________happened. _________was so nice!" "__________was/is such a nice person!"
Nice, to me, is a superficial slightly positive way to describe a person when we don't have something more specific to say, either positive or negative. And I bet if he heeds Des' initial warning he might be treading carefully on doing anything negative. Perhaps. Perhaps not. But I would venture to say he has been read the riot act and is on good behavior.

Des seems to rub Drew back and/or shoulders every time she hugs him.atem wrote:No, it wouldn't make sense. Why would she need to explain anything at the F3 RC?
Also, she was rubbing his back in comfort. They weren't kissing.

Totally agree about "nice". To me, that word is commensurate with "but he has a good personality" when referring to a guy someone sets you up with who is unattractive and has no job. C'mon - if he/she is something special, one would find it easy to find more descriptive adjectives.

Re: Drew Kenney - Bachelorette 9 Contestant - Discussion - Thread #4
That's one of the reasons why I'm expecting a change in Des' feelings for Brooks before the FRC.nd4reality wrote:On their 1on1 date her PI (while walking in those tunnels) something about Drew sharing his life and hoping that she could share it too.
When he said he felt she had known him forever she whispered I feel like that too.
Her nodding when he said he loved her at the HTD. She did did a smile nod during their 1on1 too before they kissed and when he whispered he is falling for her in the middle of their kiss she dug her fingers into his neck.
Just really small things.
I wish someone had done those fan vids of their interactions each episode. The darn editors robbed us.
Nope but she tells CH that she loves Brooks twice. Her words say one thing but her actions say quite another.

I know RS had said he got strong info that Drew was F4 but when he asked his source how Drew showed up in Antigua, he got no responses. So, it could mean RS got Fleissed. But how about the other 3 sources?
However, we know for sure Drew's moved to LA and it looks he has the most flexible schedule and is able to travel whenever, so he's the perfect candidate to meet up with Des once a week. He hasn't updated his twitter/instagram since March....because he's too busy meeting Des?
But, we have enough sc to support Christ to be f2....maybe Brook did check himself out before/during his FD, and it was Drew, in his loving and tender way to help her mend her broken heart and she realized that's what she needed: someone who will protect her, love her unconditionally, and treasure her forever. So Chris left at f2. Brooks returned before/during FRC and Des told him, sorry, too little too late. Drew is her F1 now. So, that will fit "guys leaving and returning", "weird twists", "coming out of left field".
That's my speculation and I reserve the right to change my mind anytime.

I really do think that Brooks being turned down once he returns and Des choosing Drew would definitely be "an out of field" ending. imo:giggling:Longhornfan wrote:sdmom wrote:Just returned from Media Thread and my head spins! More confusing than ever!

If it is proven that Drew REALLY is part of the Final 2, then I would just LOVE IT if the ending played out just as you wrote it above. Then I might have to agree with Fleiss (for once) - that being that Desiree's season was the best ever!!
I would just love it if they actually were able to hide the true ending. But, I suspect that Sophie's spoiler information might actually have come from someone VERY CLOSE to one of the guys, perhaps a family member. But that is just pure speculation on my part. And, if that "source" has confirmed the spoilers as being correct, then this makes me think that Brooks probably is the F1. But, we can always hope for a surprise ending!!
I would love an ending that no one saw coming, well except for some of the wonderful sleuthers here, that is. This franchise has become so stale and predictable, and they need to do something to shake things up.

I don't recall if he did or not, but what I do recall is how Deanne reacted to her conversation with Jesse' dad. It was very touching, and Des' reaction to her conversation with Drew's dad was the same way. imo. It's almost like Brooks is getting the Frank edit and Drew is getting the Jesse edit all in one Season. lolsdmom wrote:CMIIW, did Jason in Deanna's season told his family he's F1?

Jesse's parents were awsome. Jesse IMO - not so much. Please don't say that Drew is getting a Jesse edit. Jesse was edited as being super competative, always by De's side like he was trying to super-impose his self on her psyche. Please no.

To me, one of two possible endings would be out of the left field:
1)Brooks leaving, and then coming back after she lets the other 2 go.
OR
2) She's always been talking about Brooks #1, then Chris. She never mentions Drew as her f2 or f1....NOW, Drew comes up from being #3 to the front of the line! THAT would be something

The super out of the left field would be she picked no one !
