I don't think that's Drew and that's not his mom.

I thought that was Drew and his handler in Spain. Wasn't he wearing a suit when he was pinning Desiree to the wall?

I`m curious - why do you think he would move to CA so early. If he is the next bachelor, the filming doesn`t start till October as per previous schedules. He doesn`t need to get buffed up by a specialist in CA to look good for the cameras, loose excess weight etc. He needs none of that prep work for the gig. So why would he move so early for that.

And his location in Scottsdale thus far has brought him very prestigious gigs which I will not list here but he has not done too shabby in that department being `home`.
Besides other than this intro piece where we saw him running shirtless - they have certainly not highlighted Drew the model on this show at all. He has barely been highlighted either way.

Again just asking because I`m really curious to hear the explanation for this line of thinking :Smiley:. I have seen a large number of posts saying the same thing.

i'm not hutch but it could be for a variety of reasons. he might just want to get settled in here in LA before the show starts. AZ is ridiculously hot and he may have taken any excuse to get out of there for the summer. maybe he isn't the next bach but got some big modeling job out of the show. who knows?

Found this today and tells you about Drew and what kind of modeling he has done. :yes:

Better grab some smelling salts, because you might pass out onto your computer after reading about Drew Kenney. The 28-year-old Drew has quite the impressive resume — he grew up in the Phoenix / Scottsdale area, and graduated with a BS in Business Administration from Arizona State and an International Business Certificate from Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan.

Yep, Drew speaks fluent Italian (swoon!), but even better? He gets paid for being ridiculously good looking. This 6'2" hunk is an award-winning Ford model who's been featured in editorials for the likes of Vanity Fair and Vogue, as well as ad campaigns for Reebok and Microsoft. Oh, and he's strutted his stuff down the catwalk for Alexander McQueen, Wrangler, and Ted Baker.

When he isn't being paid to look pretty, Drew bartends and works in Customer Retention and Reputation Management for Van Tuyl Auto Group. But this male model's biggest commitment is to his family. Looks like he's the whole package!

Drew's one-on-one date was incredibly romantic. Were you surprised about how well it went?
Chris Harrison: I think people have found him attractive and interesting, but a bit of an enigma so we're finally revealing who he is and people are really going to fall for him. Until now, we were left to try to figure out if he was a superficial, perfect looking guy who's saying the right thing and now we see this guy has major depth and a lot of things going on, and it's all very impressive. Des was just blown away.

Was she shocked he got so physical?
Harrison: You could see her eyes get excited and think, "Oh, thank God." She really relished those moments of kissing and getting more physical and then when he really took her away and did the manly move of throwing her against the wall, she was like, "This is good."

Do you think Drew made the right move in telling Des about James after he got the rose?
Harrison: When he did it, if he was going to do it at all, was smart. I kind of thought that things went so well for him, why do it at all? But it's really hard to tell just how offended these guys are, and watching, it's hard to understand why. To the guys' defense, good for them for being so protective and being so into the process, but it's easy to think, "Really? Is it that big of a deal?"

If they are pimping him out to be next bachelor, then there is no way he leaves Des early. That would not gain sympathy among the viewing audience. They may look at him with disdain.

If Drew does decide to leave early, then Zak it is.

I would agree - it would be more that she lets him go suddenly which would garner audience support for being the bachelor.
