Ok if this is the case with regard to the sun location there are two sets of cameras capturing the SCs we see of Ashley and GSG (we think this is JP). One pointed toward the ocean (the direction from which the sun is shining) and the other from the opposite direction.

Angle #1

(she is noticeably upset here and I agree with N4 -- this is not a fake out she starts tearing up a bit, then she closes her eyes opens them and tears up a bit more again with her lips pursed together as if she's holding back from crying - she's really sad while talking to GSG from the looks of it)

(Based on the angle of the sun which is shining on them from the direction of the ocean and the camera - I think this really is GSG walking away from the podium and away from the ocean/the sun ....and not pacing like I had said earlier .)

The interesting thing is the sun is (to my eyes at least) lower when GSC is there compared to when BSG comes over (notice how the top of her shoulders and the top of their hands are lit in this SC)



But even more interestingly the sun is very high during the moment (which is shown right after the scene with GSG) when Ashley is running after someone.

The sun being higher in this last SC means she runs after someone that is leaving the podium but came earlier than GSC ie. BSG (Ben F).

My hypothesis from these SC is that BSG/Ben F comes Ashley rejects him but is totally broken up about it and even runs after him. She is a sobbing mess and talking about how cruel what she did is...she's extremely unhappy and thinks that the moment is ruined and the whole day is ruined. Then GSC/JP comes and she is still completely beat up - she tells him that she doesn't want to do anything today or she can't really think straight right now....and I hope you understand or something --- and he walks away from the podium...

Do we know which side is west at the FRC location? Where is the sun supposed to set -- behind Ashley in this picture toward the ocean? or from her left/right/in front?

It looks like toward the ocean from how I am looking at it




nd4reality -- I was thinking the same think about her crying...it's really hard to tell if she's being emotional about the proposal or sad and therefore crying...though I have a hard time imagining the F1 rejecting her at the FRC location if he at all imagines proposing to her at any point in their relationship

I wish Mr Write could do his magic with Google Earth and post a pic! The little island on the left of the picture is Northwest of the island of Vomo.

It's clear when watching the video that GSG is walking up and turning toward her not away from her.

I agree - she should not have to run after anyone (F1 or F2) unless they either have dumped her or walked away angry.

emusha - I cannot even imagaine that BOTH the guys did ^^^. That would be a new one for this show. Thoughts ?

I'm not sure I get what you're saying is any different that what I said- I said she wouldn't need to run after her F2, she would escort him out - unless he dumped her. I suppose he could storm off after she rejects him. I just don't get that vibe from Ben

he's walking away from the direction the sun is shining/Northwest/direction of the ocean -- it is physically impossible for him to walk from the ocean toward the podium so he is walking away from the podium (unless he is pacing and comes back into place)
