I agree. It was put together beautifully, from the coat to the hairstyle to the car, and was perfectly suited to the castle. My only beef was that we didn't get a better view of her dress.

That is interesting. I guess she really does not like Brooks because so far all her times with him she was really casual. Except for the bridal dress of course, but that is it.

I always find it amusing when people try to say that their current faves are so not like other leads/contestants and use every complimentary word under the sun to describe them. Really, they can't be THAT different to have applied for this show and agreed to do it a second time. They've all got some ego in 'em. Brooks might be a really great, genuine guy. Or he might be a complete narcissist in it for attention (hello, Jef). How are people SO sure of their intentions so early on in the season, before we even get to see them unedited and live?

Here's the quote from the stylist that caught my eye:

"Did Desiree tell you what she was looking for in a man, style-wise? Not what look she wanted in a man, but she was very specific when she’d go on a date who she wanted to dress up for. She was specific about who she wanted to be extremely sexy for and who she didn’t care about."

I do think that Brooks has been her frontrunner from the start but I also think that she gave a few other guys a chance and that Chris is one of them. During the last few episodes, she has initiated the kiss with him and grabbed him with both hands into her. It could be that Chris is just not comfortable showing passion while cameras are rolling as he is obviously very aware of cameras (based on last episode in Germany). Or ... it could be that they just don't have a ton of natural chemistry. But it's not for lack of trying on Des' part!

Let's give Chris - and Des - some credit. There's a reason she took him to #2 and I don't think it's just because she needed a warm body.

But, back to the sexy fashion watch ... I bet it will get more telling as the dates progress. Will be interesting to see her outfits during F3 in particular. Ashley & Ali went really sexy for their F1's.

I'm not sure casual vs. casual attire really plays that big a role in gauging feelings for the guys....Remember Trista was super-casual with Ryan in comparison to Charlie, who she repeatedly got more gussied up for. Especially the LCD, she wore sweats, hair in a bun, and her glasses. I also remember Ali dressing more casual on certain dates with Roberto as well. And we can't forget Ashley in her sweats and glasses on her first 1-on-1 with JP. I think some of the female leads use more casual attire as a test to see if a particular with like them just as much looking more au naturale. Kind of how they would look more often IRL without a make-up and wardrobe team.

Oh I give Chris credit. She really respects him and is seeing if he can cross out of the friends with benefits zone. I personally think each time she tries there is something holding her back that is why I am not seeing the passion. Definitely do not want to wish away my summer so will enjoy the show and look forward to the FDs and LCDs, even though they seem to be full of drama.

I don't see Ali as a diva at all. I liked her in both seasons (other than the dumb crying in the hall) plus she had some excellent guys. The ones I found to be the biggest divas in their seasons were Jen Schefft & Emily. Funny that they were both previous f1 or maybe because of it.

I like Ali also and have since day one.

That interview with Cary Fetman explains why Des had the long evening coat on over her RC dress. I think she looked gorgeous at the RC and also during her dinner with Chris.
