This season is such a mindf***

Your JMO is also JMO as well. I don't mean this to sound bad or sexist and I hope I get it out correctly, but the truth is, if a man needs to ask if "this is okay?" Chances are, it's not okay and he knows that. Did we see Roberto ask? Or JP? They knew it was okay and they're the aggressors, here, Ben isn't even the aggressor and he's still asking.

Chances are, it's not okay and he knows that. Did we see Roberto ask? Or JP? They knew it was okay and they're the aggressors, here, Ben isn't even the aggressor and he's still asking.

Yeah, I agree, that's exactly what my gut reaction was when he said that. As you pointed out Ben is no aggressor. It just feels producer-driven to me; I can't shake that feeling about it.

Just trying to piece everything together, I'm wondering if Ryan didn't come one day and surprise her & then bust in on her fantasy date with JP. It's just weird because in the new preview you see JP & Ashley kissing, yet first FD preview showed her walking away looking annoyed and then fades to someone walking away at night. At first I thought it was probably Constantine, but wonder if it may actually be Ryan.

That may explain the JP quotes, "She knows I'm flustered" and (if it's not a made up quote) "It makes it a little more difficult knowing she's probably not in love with me (i.e. her not telling Ryan immediately to go home)." and would explain her VOs about "It's over right now" and actions speaking louder than words.

That next day (which would explain the different outfit change), her body language changes in the previews (she removes Ryan's hands from her waist and is standing in a defensive position by the railing.) Just my little guess of a story line!

but they aren't......they have tried to show a real connection with Ash and Ben, but it pales in comparison to her connection with JP - she glows with JP, yet she's composed with Ben. The cardboard kisses she has with Ben tell us this.
they are trying to create doubt with JP through JPs edit, not Ben's connection since it's obvious they have an Ali/Chris L connection.
