I think that article is meant to confuse even further.

I take what CH and MF say with a very small grain of salt.

Yup, their job is to make you watch the finale. And they'll say whatever it takes.

Exactly.

Almost the entire edit has been about "The Des & Brooks Show" this whole season, with the other contestants as antagonists to Brooks.

I think his discussion with his sister during his HTD was an important one too

Again Harrison is talking out of both sides of his mouth.

I just re-watched that scene with Brooks and his brothers (who all have similar, nice-sounding voices to his) and I think Jeepers is absolutely right that that's the pivotal moment that CH is talking about, highlighted by the fact that they play some interesting and unusual music throughout it.

It's the moment when his brother, Dave, says, "The real question to ask is . . . if Desiree were just out, she was just gone, gone from my life, and if the feeling is, I need to do anything and everything I can to get her back in my life . . . could you live without her?"

That's exactly what happens. Desiree is gone from Brooks' life. They both think it's over, evidenced by her wanting to give up and go home and he is distraught and sobbing. THAT is the moment when Brooks comes to the realization that he doesn't want to live without her, so he does whatever he has to at the end of this show to get her back into his life.

No doubt that's what CH is referring to. As someone else said, this whole season has been the Des and Brooks show, and it's been wonderful to watch as a Brooks fan. :Smiley: 

It's SOOO freaking romantic.

I guess it's romantic but I'd still much rather see a Traditional FD, MTP and LCD for them than tears and drama.  I hope they get a little time together before the end otherwise we've already seen their last date.   If he just shows back up at the FRC, Then It's just a falling out and a reconciliation left to watch.  I'm majorly bummed if that's the case.

That's just it. Nothing indicates it is any different in the episode description. It pisses me the heck off that all these articles are skipping the FD issue and we have to wait until Tue for an answer.

You don't see something incredibly romantic about that? It's the stuff of the best stories. It's not pretty as a picture and wrapped up in a package, but it's powerful and beautiful.

She wanted that perfect, fairytale ending, and instead she gets the man she really needs in her life. :Smiley:  I'd take that any day.

No, I really don't think we'll be getting any of the rest of the dates.   The fans are going to be cheated of Brooks time, which makes me sad. I love Brooks. I think he's so good-looking and love to just watch him. But the break-up, and then the ending could be all about them. Didn't they extend the ending? It's a departure from the norm, but that's not necessarily bad. And it's definitely out of left field, makes no sense, a lot of weird twists and intense. :Smiley:
