Desiree said in her blogs that she is in love with Brooks. You guys can try and pretend all you want, but she did say that.

NOT placing spoilers aside and based on everything else we've seen on the show, Brooks is F1.

Just watching the show, not knowing the spoilers, not seeing any SCs, Chris is F1. Or possibly Drew. Or, possibly Brooks, . Because I'd REALLY wonder about that preview and how they ended with Brooks and Des crying.

I don't see what's wrong with asking RS about that magazine.  Like I said, I would wait to see what the rest of the article says first. It says how she decided between the final 2 guys. I just don't get why picture Brooks and Drew. Why not all 3 guys or just Desiree? Seems to indicate to me who the final 2 guys are.

It would also explain why Chris' ring doesn't match the final 2 rings shown on Wet Paint and the Final 1 ring (which matches the Wet Paint one).

This to me reminds me of Ben and Courtney. With their skinny dipping scene, there was no way Courtney could not be final 1. Unless TPTB are completely throwing Des under the bus, and backing up over her again, Brooks is F1. She can't come out and say that she loves (for a couple of weeks now) him without him being F1.

She'd just look kind of flaky if she did go with someone other than Brooks, that's all. They really would be throwing her under the bus. They've just made a big, huge fool of her then, showing the world that she doesn't know her own mind.

They certainly did throw Chris under the bus recently.

Drew's HTD with Des has a finality about it. He was saying all this stuff, that it is forever, all glowy, that he'll bring her back, and you know they're just salivating to pull the rug out from under him.

They're showing Brooks' conflict. They've made Brooks a much deeper character.

I agree that it's going to be messy, very messy for Des if Brooks is not F1... and if she chooses Chris or Drew so difficult for them, too... to watch her profess her love for another guy.  And I believe Des loves Brooks when she said it.  But if she/Brooks are not on the same page and he leaves/she lets him go... then there could be room for another man to win her heart.  I think it's going to be Drew.  As I posted in another thread, spoilers aside, these points include:

• Physical attraction
• Best hometown date EVA
• Weird hometown date with Chris’ family (not F1 edit)
• Not strong mention of Drew’s HTD when speaking with CH –when it’s obvious that it was terrific
• SCs of everyone in limo crying
• No SCs of Drew in exit limo
• Show’s edit hiding their early interaction
• Drew’s ability to say VERY clearly that he wants her in his life
• His move from AZ to CA
• No strong mention of Drew in Des’ blogs – hiding him

Those are all excellent points, Sue. I honestly don't think Des could go wrong with any of the F3, they all seem like wonderful young men. I just keep going back to MF saying Des is his favorite Bachette and I don't think he'd humilliate her intentionally. Unless there is something shown that completely explains everything, I think Des picking anyone other than Brooks makes her and her either Drew or Chris look bad. I would like to know WHY MF says Des is his favorite, was it because she was easily manipulated, gave him good material to work with, or she is just a genuinely nice person.

I do believe MF says that each season. I remember Trista was a bit annoyed when he said that about another bachelorette as well.

This is what I can't wrap my head around either.

So either the magazine is wrong about Chris OR our screencaps are wrong.
OR this is part of the gigantic fake out that MF has in store this season and Brooks is not really there at the end and they have merely used the photographs of 2 of the final 3 which were handed out prior to the HTDs.


When did the life and style magazines in previous seasons come out ? After the FDs or before ? If before then the entire fandom would have known who was the final 2 from the magazine so did that happen ?

No, the caps for Chris may still be right. Remember, all 3 could still MTP and go ring shopping. It would explain why Chris' ring doesn't match the Final 2 proposal rings.

I agree.  The F3 are maybe the best F3 the shows have ever had!  I don't think MF had to humilate Des.. unfortunately by naming Brooks, it's very possible she's done that herself.  On the other hand, if she learns that what she really needed was there all the time in Chris or Drew... then it makes a good and 'acceptable' story and the gen public should have no trouble supporting her change of heart.  I think Des is MF's fav for ALL the reasons you state!  :-)
