We will never win arguments. There's as much emotion supporting the F2 and especially the F2 as there is the F1. I understand that and next season our friends now might differ. But I am in a serene place and glad I didn't fall completely off the Bres train.

I never doubted that Brooks was F1, not for a minute. I was getting nervous if they were still together. I am so happy today.

Things get tumultuous every season….no sense stressing over it!!

I've never fallen off the Team Bres train, but I did have my moments of uneasiness!! It was SO nice to hear about more confirmations last night and this morning from trusted sources. Something that struck me also, even though I never give Chris H.'s words much credibility, was him saying awhile back that seeing the finale would make the "hometown dates make sense." I always connected that to what Brooks' brother said, if Des was gone forever, would you do anything to get her back... so I always figured maybe he left and returned after realizing and clarifying his feelings! Anyway, I'm so glad to hear they are still together and happy and I hope they stay that way!!! Thanks everyone for making this such a nice place to be Hugesmile

I am seldom vocal with my thoughts. Doesn't mean I'm not reading every word here and either agreeing or disagreeing. I am of the opinion that because Des knew VERY early who she wanted to choose, all the rest of this has been nothing but mind games. I know Brooks loves her. He stated after his hometown that he was even closer to the union of marriage. All of a sudden, he changes his mind?? Doubt it. I don't think Des knew of TPTB plans, but I'm certain that when she left Brooks she was questioning everyone. I also think that Brooks wasn't privy to everything either. This is a show, unfortunately they will do what they want to get the response they want. BUT, the ending will be as it should be, Des and Brooks together. I do feel bad for them, but we don't know how it will play out. If TPTB have any scruples, they will at least give these two a decent ending. They both deserve that for having to put up with all of this nonsense....

Welcome, and I agree with you that Brooks does love Des. If he didn't he would not have cried and been so broken hearted.

Yes! Brooks seems to define love as "being in a vulnerable place," "pain," and "longing"--and that the time away from Des wasn't hard enough. Well he got all of that right away after (even during!) the breakup, so maybe that's all the confirmation he needed.

I didn't doubt Brooks was falling in love with Des, but did doubt that he wasn't going to talk himself out of it. And so happy for Des that he came to his senses. Seeing him pour out his heart and Desiree understanding and forgiving him is going to be the best thing ever. I can't wait. :cutesmile!:
