Sean tweeted someone a minute ago about the GMA appearance in the morning so they may be doing just that!
We had to get a new DVR box which is not here yet so I can't tape the GMA appearance. I will watch it and report in. I am central time and GMA is on 7:00 to 9:00 here.

Well since all the GMA promos made it really clear that they are in love and also something along the lines of like good news about the future of the happy couple, and it now being said by several sources that it's not a wedding date yet, I wonder if the network is sending them somewhere?

They did that with several other couples immediately post ATFR show that didn't even all look then as solid as Catherine and Sean clearly were after this season...and then they rushed right into DWTS (which also got great publicity and viewership transferring over, which ABC benefits from)

It seems silly to fly them out to GMA just to promo Katie (granted the tied other stuff in then since they were there, but...still). I'm sure they'll promo the Katie segment in part, but this is WAY more effort than they'd need to do. They could do a video feed spot if that's all it was.

My guess is on GMA they'll be asked how things are going (which will be fine and great and lovely - and showing clips of all that they've done, including the last few days...but probably some normal life) and how wedding plans are going (and they'll say how hectic it's been and they've not had much time to slow down and plan with going from one show to the next but that it's coming soon and they'll be giving a date soon) and then GMA/ABC will give them a trip somewhere or something. yes

Kind of a "take a breather" (aka so you can also plan the wedding) but also a "reward" since ABC is vested in seeing them last. Sending them to Hawaii or something would be easy for the network - and less of a hassle potentially running into tropical storm issues if they tried to go back to the Caribbean. Sean and Cat get a mini break for a week or two...do nothing really, just "be." But also get planning started (I think there's far more done than anyone's saying - like date/location at least...likely to have been scoped out while in LA!)

They're "seen" again when Cat's on Desiree's season and then announce the date on MTA and reiterate it on the ATFR show and then do the wedding the week after (airing it, at least).

OMG,what happened when my world was deep asleep! Postings with beautiful pictures of the happy couple. Where do I even begin to comment and like! Thank you all for being good spots. That photo of Sean tying up Cat's laces is so adorable. Once again my heart melted. They both look gorgeous. I love all Catherine's outfits. From the ripped jeans with nude heels and her black skirt, peep toe booties and cropped tie and dye top. Sean looks hot in his jeans and boots. Cristine in one very lucky lady. This is the second time she's meeting them and she's still in awe. (Thanks for sharing your experience with us). I cannot contain my excitement and like all of you I am even more pumped up for their wedding. I might just allow myself to go crazy just this once.

That being said, they (ABC) don't want people to forget about them either, so we see them tomorrow on GMA, next week on Katie (according to Vienna's post, Monday), Catherine will be on the b-ette in a few weeks.... then maybe at ATFR they'll reveal a wedding about a month away (late August, Sept!)

But we had a wonderful day of them today.... and a little more tomorrow. I will be thankful for that.

I was hopeful we'd get a date announced but it doesn't seem like it will be. I do agree that this latest round of "network sponsored" publicity (Katie Couric + GMA) is part of the run-up of PR for an announcement and TV wedding and a desire to keep the couple prominent in fans' minds. Even the Hollywood Life article (recently released) about Catherine's secret visit to Dallas to meet Sean's friends & family seems part of this PR run-up. Things like that don't happen by accident; they are carefully planned and timed.

We can't ignore the significance of an appearance on Katie Couric with ALL the married couples from the franchise (not sure why Courtney was there though) nor a GMA appearance but then it does seem to be "wedding week" on GMA and June is a popular month for weddings so this seems all geared toward keeping people thinking about Sean & Catherine and weddings.

Like you I suspect a date will not be announced until roughly a month before it airs.

She is awesome, and I am so happy that Sean and Cat are so perfect for each other! (sorry for any gramatical errors above, but I am tired..(Yawn) oh yeah, Don't tell my husband, but Sean smells really good..just saying

I really wish you can get an invite to their wedding. You will be a representative for all SeanCat lovers here :Smiley:
