atem, exactly :Smiley: besides, I imagine it was invented for cell-phone use and I use my mobile phone as little as possible, there are days when I completely forget about it, but since Twitter (or maybe even before) many people are glued to their phones and they feel like if they don't share, it never happened and need to show the great time they have to make themselves feel better and have the sense that they matter, and sometimes they miss a moment to just enjoy.

hap, you know what I like twitter for? Well, besides stalking people, I get more breaking news that way. That's where I first heard of Sandy Hook (school shooting in the US last December) and the recent Boston bombings. Those are just two examples...also quick way to get sports results if you follow people who like your teams.

Litta, oh, I completely get it and far from me to criticize the social media as complete negative invention. Every innovating creation is positive. It's in people's hands what they do with it. It's their choice how to use it and for what purpose. I use Facebook, since most people on this side of "the pond" is on, twitter is more "American" (here only politicians and celebrity use it). Since "you" are a big country, certain needs require people to be connected, save time and money.

ETA: Example - I just wish people at the music concerts would put their phones down and just enjoy the music. Yeah, it's great that with all these technology we can now see concerts and gigs from every part of the world, on youtube and etc., but also a lot of those videos are really bad quality, unless someone recorded it professionally (why lately is becoming more popular for artists to make documentaries), so sometimes when I look at the audience, all holding up their phones, staring in that little screen, I think, man, you're missing the best part that's going on, if you would just watch the performance on the stage and dance with the crowd.

So I'm going to post some more stuff that makes me continue to lean toward Jenna as F1. For those who don't believe, this probably won't change your mind. But this is the Jenna thread, so I'm going to show things that support my girl. yes

You might recall that Jenna did get to go to the Fun. show in Austin on February 12. Many of us thought this was a nice little VD treat from her rocker boyfriend. Earlier in the day she tweeted this though:

Jenna Reeves ‏@imaJENNAtion_ 12 Feb If I didn't get to see Fun. in LA a few months back I would be in an utter state of depression for missing tonight's show at Stubbs's (Jenna did end up being able to go as her later tweets show.)

I got to thinking about this. When did she go see Fun. in LA? I think it happened right before she came back to Austin after finishing the show (Finale was August 14).



So again, it's interesting that Jenna gets to do such fun things (no pun intended) on a recent college grad's budget. When would she have bought the tickets, when she had no idea what her life was going to look like due to the show? Now I know that some here will argue she got tickets through connections through NBC/Eva/someone who had connections from the show. Maybe. But just maybe, her new rocker boyfriend wanted to do something special with her before she left to go home...before she left on her trip to England with her parents. Sometimes a rose is just a rose. Certainly Tim would have connections to get in the the show at the last minute. Also, she also seems like a very happy girl for someone who just "lost" Tim if she's not F1.

A buddy of mine turned me on to Father John Misty. I’m really liking that. I’ve been listening to the new Fun. record. I do listen to a lot of classic rock, still. But there’s an Austin band called Alpha Rev that I really like. I’m kind of all over the map. I listen to a lot of singer/songwriter stuff, not a lot of pop music, even though I’m playing in a pop band. I tend to be moved by the storytelling in the singer/songwriter style of music.

Wow I totally disagree with you on this one. There is no way a new show is going to pay an audience that size, they don't have the income for it. The only ones that would benefit from the show for work and acting credits are Jenna, Hailey and Sara. In most of these shows like The Bachelor the contestants that reach the f3 spots always get reimbursed for loss of expenses etc.. I don't see this show being any different.

We will know soon enough in two weeks. Next week will be huge as well as to who gets eliminated.

Wow I totally disagree with you on this one. There is no way a new show is going to pay an audience that size, they don't have the income for it. That's the biggest surprise, of all the people in the audience after 8/9/10 months nobody uttered a single thing online. I recall people coming here or on official FB page, posting "final choice", but they never left any explanation to make me trust them that they know anything for sure.
