The kind of show I would do, would be the bach meets big brother, with a touch of RFL matchmaking/dating coach. The format would be two houses, a guys house and a girls house (the “frat house” and “sorority house”). Since RFL is taped during the summer, would be great for college age kids.

Get a really good matchmaker for the guys, and another one for the girls. Maybe a guy matchmaker for the girls, and a girl matchmaker for the guys. Also a good “dating coach” for each of the houses, preferably also of the opposite sex. The matchmakers for pre-show screening of applicants, and dating coaches for during the show. Possibly a small segment at the end with the matchmakers (aka bach ATFR style).

In the universe of relationships, there are 16 basic unique "soul mate" relationship profiles, where "mates" perfectly complement each other. The show could randomly select 4 from the 16 possible profiles. For each of the 4 relationship profiles, would have 4 girls in the sorority house and 4 guys in the frat house. In summary, would have a frat house of 16 guys and a sorority house of 16 girls. And the potential for every guy and girl to end up with their “soul mate”. But it never works out like that in the real world. But the risk reward payoff is so much better than the bach and RFL for all participants. Which could change the “here for the right reasons” to “fame seekers” dynamic factor.

Air time would focus on what is going on in each of the two houses. Each house would have their respective “dating coach”, who would hold “office hours”. So we get to see not only the conversations that the guys are having about the girls, but also the one-on-ones with the “dating coach”, and vice versa for the girls in the sorority house. And an even more amount of air time would be allocated for “one-on-one dates”. So yeah, get rid of the group dates that quite frankly do nothing for me. These one-on one dates could be all over the world. And maybe mix in some of the dating culture of each locale, to make the dates even more interesting.

The whole show could be done more real-time like big brother, so we don't have to worry about a realitysteve spoiler. The unknown element is still who ends up with who. But the show's real value is in the magical journey of romance for all the hopeless romantics out there, and the exciting new adventures to interesting parts of the world for all the rest of us. And for those who love the gossip, you have what the guys in one house are saying about the girls in the other house, and vice versa. Also removes the “game show” element that I dislike in RFL.

It seems like the editors are editing things in-reverse. scratch

For example, we saw Tim have a conversation of substance and a sensual kiss with Sarah M; yet, she was eliminated. We saw Tim being close (holding hands) with Siham (didn't see much body contact with Sara or Jenna at the lunch table, and very little physical contact with Hailey); yet, Siham was eliminated. We're suppose to see Tim being more physical with Hailey during her Family Date; yet, she's suppose to be eliminated next. Strange editing is all I can say. giggling

Oh my. You're right! That means Sara goes next. And Tim is a player. I love it! It also means it has to be HAILEY.
She's the only one left that he hasn't gone there with...

Grace, I don't know anything about Kari's tweeting. I think Sara is 30 and Tim 31, I'm not sure.

But at this point - which final choice would be a shocker? What is the expectation of majority?

I went to read FB page of RFL and some people there don't stand Jenna and are shocked she's still in the game. Actually i have to edit here: many hope that Hailey is F1, support her, but many believe that F1 is Sara. I really don't know what kind of ending would be unexpected and for who?

It's a twin thing, but my F1 matches have been Sara and Allie from the beginning based upon the type of relationships that they have with Tim and Ben respectively.

Thanks Litta, I have some comparisons to do. One note is that the focus, again, is on Tim and Jenna's physical atttraction. We did not see the it played out in the show, so we didn't hear their conversation. Ok, off to do my comparisons of how Jenna and Sara were edited on the Family date.
