Each person that watches the show sees something different, based on our experiences. We all identify with the girls through those experiences that make us unique individuals. For instance, I'm sure that those who have gone through having a significant other with a cancer diagnosis can relate to Sara. They understand what she is going through and feel connected to her. People that use humor as a way to protect themselves from being hurt have related to Hailey, because they understand that concept. People that are looking for a love story based on intense physical chemistry or realize the importance of it in a relationship relate to Jenna.

TPTB know they need to show a horse race. When they edited the show for TV, they did it so the fanbase for each girl will have reasons to believe the person they are connected to is F1. There has to be hope for their fave! How many times have we heard people say once their fave is out, they are going to quit watching?

As far as Tim's girls, they needed to show Sara and Hailey moving forward and doubt with Jenna. For the majority of the viewing audience, it works. For those of us that understand the editing techniques, not so much.

That's how I see the edit right now. With 4 episodes left, (I think?) of course things could change.

So nice to know I'm not the only one that didn't "get" it. I seriously listened to it 3 times focusing on only one of the F3 each time and it fit for each one of them!

Exactly. That's why I say on a personal level I can firstly identify myself with Hailey, seeing my own traits of personality in her, then second next is Sara that I still can feel a connection to (not the cancer story, but sticking through thick and thin and the character) and only then can I relate to Jenna (but I know people that remind me of her).

But all that I put aside when looking at Tim and his reaction (words), gestures (body language), behavior (play for show) and drawing from the experiences and deducing from the external information of after show I cannot picture "my girl" to be "picked". Neither would it be fair wanting it, since it has to fit him and his life not mine.
I strongly believe Hailey is out of the game as F3, so for me whoever is F1 doesn't matter.
From the social media, looking at FB, Twitter, IG, following MMs, Lava family and Hailey, a person could almost think that F1 is Sara, but then there are so many more links and clues that lead to Jenna and after seeing only 5 episodes so far, no matter what kind of editing they are pulling, I'm sticking with the last option.

From here on "my lips are sealed" - won't bother to predict anymore, I'll only describe my impressions of each episode when aired.

happy, part of the fun in the discussion thread is sharing our predictions and why. It matters not whether we are right or wrong, it allows our fellow posters to see things from a multiple perspective and to show respect for those with an opposing viewpoint. It is what makes this so rich, with all the diversity we bring.

I feel the discussion thread for Tim should be open to those who want to discuss any part of his journey on an open level.

The fan threads should be open to opposing views as well, as long as they are not disrespectful to fellow posters. That doesn't mean, however, that we should go into the fan threads and try to purposely cause dissent or angst among those posting there. I think respect is the key.

Bee, I didn't write anything against anyone, what I wrote is that I simply won't bother to predict anymore, I'm tired of myself and I'm sure many are tired of reading me going on and on about the same things, but I used your words, because you expressed better what I also wanted to write before. I'm not saying that others shouldn't continue and I'm definitely not here to stop anyone from expressing themselves.
