Since this is the Sara thread, one thing that I think has maybe slipped, is when Ben commented on Tim's girls and that Ben said he thought himself would have a harder time with dating a girl that her deceased fiancée's name was Tim and something else.. did Ben let it slip maybe that is who Tim picked??? Just a hunch.why else would he bring that up.

No, I don't. Maybe it is in Ben's thread. But why would he single out one girl that Tim is dating..?? I think they asked Ben about his girls and Ben said he needed someone without a history or something to that affect (virgin??) haha.. and brought up Sara. why would he bring her up!?

Hi Guys! First time posting (don’t tell my kids…I embarrass them enough as it is) I LOVE Sara and I think the signs have pointed to her from the beginning even though the signs have been subtle. I mean you guys did see the “neck nuzzle” after she had that first conversation with Tim didn’t you? Wowza!! It was sweet and tender but it kinda gave me the vapors at the same time! Haha. I think that was the moment that “she hit him like a blinding light “ and things began for them. I think there had to be something there in order for Tim to take Sara to “his” tree. That tree date was not going to just any girl. It was going to someone special. I mean the guy has the tree tattooed on his arm for crying out loud! Even though the tree is gone now, how lovely that they will have sweet memories of it together.

Okay TeamSara… here is something to SLEUTH…I couldn’t stand it anymore and had to butt into the conversation. I love editing. I work with a design and marketing team and we do a lot of media splice and dice. If you open the scene with your main focus or character, you can then take any verbage you need that character to say and edit it in while bringing up another image. Even though you are seeing a clip of something else, the mind is still making the connection to the first image that was shown. We do this all the time when we need to make a concise statement in video. Soooooooooooooo…let’s take a look at the intro Tim does of all the girls on the “Meet the Parents” episode.

As a TeamSara member I cringed a little bit when I heard Tim say that “Jenna really gets my heart racing.” I thought to my old self that must be good old editing right there because it is not lining up with the love story that they are showing us. And they ARE showing us a love story. Oh and by the way, (wish I could find it) in one of Eva’s early interviews she said we will see one of the most beautiful love stories ever shown on tv. What is more beautiful than two people who have lost love and find it again. I think Jenna is an absolute doll but I don’t think that is the “beautiful” love story that we are seeing.

Back to editing…I went back and watched that intro again and BINGO! It was heavily edited. I give major props to the editors. They tried, I will give them that much. But when you do sound splicing it gets really tricky, especially if the sound bites were said at different times. If it’s not something you do on a regular basis then you won’t even catch it. Around the 59:35 mark (on hula) you see a clip of Jenna walking to meet the family and you HEAR Tim saying “Jenna, really” and immediately we cut away to see a clip of Tim in his blue shirt saying “gets my heart racing.” We automatically think that these two phrases are one sentence referring to Jenna. Not so quick! The word “Jenna” has been spliced in front of “really gets my heart racing.” If you close your eyes and listen, you can tell not only by the cadence of his voice but the pitch is different as well. Then add the fact that the audience does NOT see him say the word “Jenna.” Editing magic to add a huge element of doubt to the Sara love story by bringing the Jenna physical edit back into play. Man, I love this stuff!! Go take a listen and see if you can hear it. If you can’t hear it, just trust me on this one. He did NOT say this line as one continuous statement.

Oh and surprise…the same editing trick is used in his next statement. We do NOT see him say “there’s just so much passion and romance between us but…” (this is dubbed over passionate and romantic scenes between Tim and Jenna however). We then SEE him say “I do wonder if age is going to be an issue.” Pretty tricky I’d say. Also take a look at the way he is sitting in these interviews. During the “Sara talk” and the “heart racing talk” he is sitting upright. However, when he is having the “age issue talk” his body is leaning to our right. Something to think about. Maybe, just maybe, Sara not only has the loyalty, faith, pure heart, and ability to love completely, but she just might also share some passion and romance that gets Tim’s heart racing!

Oh isn’t this a whole lotta fun?

You make very valid points. After the last episode 7, I also start to see things between Sara and Tim, that I haven't seen before. So I'm wondering was the editing room cutting it out before and hiding from the viewers or did something "major" shifted in Tim to have this "leaning". At the same time again because of the editing, we haven't seen much of interaction with Jenna, so I couldn't compare his behavior with her now and the way he acted before. If Sara gained so much in the matter of 2 episodes (1, from my perspective), I would assume Jenna loses some too, but that's what I couldn't see. But the way Doc described and now you, you are right saying that there is shown a progression and a beautiful story, that said, I'm not taking back my words from yesterday, that it's just too much "sweetened" for me. (yes, blame the editing or whoever)
I keep repeating my observations rely mostly on body language, the looks, smiles, ... it was never based on words at the first place, because I simply don't trust them, actions speak louder, so I agree with you that the confessions aren't the measurement of "feelings".

He went into how her story might be too heavy for a guy and could be intimidating. Believe me I am not saying this to push away Sara as F!. I LOVE her and actually love her music. She is wonderful. Just clarifying the interview. :Smiley:

Mimigrace! Welcome!!! I thought that too, with the slicing.. I saw him sitting there but didn't see the whole sentence said together. And even with the passion comment, I wondered who he was saying it about.. Remember Sara this week said they have the physical or chemistry, so now she wanted him to see it was more than that.. haha

Klisack- wasn't Ben saying that he himself would connect more to those free spirit girls, Jenna and the brunette, he couldn't remember Sarah's name, and the host guessed Siham and he said no that is the French girl.. I watched it late at night, so I maybe wrong.
