Well last night when the nightmare woke me up and I came to check the forum, just to calm down and go back to sleep, you were writing about these extended weekends that Hailey started to have once the show aired - and I questioned if 3 days off would be enough to travel to another state -

now, I'm aware that you can go far away in 3 days, that's not the issue, but also every road-trip by car or plane costs a lot (I assume), so I was more doubting that a teacher would spent on traveling every weekend just to see "a boyfriend" for a day or 2.
Not that she wouldn't travel to see "a boyfriend".
But maybe not that far from home.
That's why I'm wondering if Orlando is near her hometown?
I'm just wondering...

BKay and anyone else who might think I know something more - I don't - I'm just guessing and hoping (maybe) - since I wouldn't write names of "private" people, all I could disclose is "there's a guy with a dog"*

*I'm sorry if this "mystery" makes everything even more interesting, but I think I'm so off the trail, that I stay quiet out of embarrassment.

First, I don't KNOW Hailey, but I can speculate that she would be able to afford to go away for weekends. With her years of teaching experience she probably makes around 40K. What does she have to pay for? Her living expenses, certainly. She says on the show she lives right across the street from the beach. Indialantic is a beachside town, and there is money there, real estate is high. Her father is a very successful real estate developer in town. I doubt she has student loans, but I certainly do not know her personal or financial business. In any case, I would certainly think that even if she didn't have the means to pay for airfare, etc., Tim would be able and willing to cover that, just as I am sure that Ben and Ernesto would for their girls. They are all successful, and wouldn't expect their girlfriend to pay for everything, especially if she didn't have the means. IMO

The last day of school was Wednesday. I did not see Hailey doing car loop duty, but she was there Monday and Tuesday. Not sure what the last day for teachers is/was. I am thinking it was Thursday. As far as Hailey going away for weekends since the show started, I can only say that I never paid attention before the show if she was at car loop duty or not because I didn't know she would be on the show or what it might mean if she were gone on a Friday.... I will say though that before seeing the show, Hailey is a person you notice, she is breathtakingly beautiful and really looks just as she appears on the show. She stands demurely and unassuming; to me she seems very humble and approachable. She just looks like a nice person. So, I really want her to win! I think she has been very real on the show.

FWIW, in my school district, we had what was called SWS (school-wide-service). It wasn't necessarily an everyday service -- it was based on the number of "extra" minutes negotiated in the contract. We had a set schedule. So when I had SWS, I didn't have it daily.

It's possible that Hailey was absent on those Fridays, but it's equally possible, in my mind, that it was her "day off " from that duty. There are just so many unknowns and possibilities that I find it difficult for me to make any conclusions.

At this school, teachers do their duties consistently... Hailey IS the early morning car loop person (the PE teacher does the heavy lifting, crossing students, etc. Hailey stands down at the end and waves cars forward). In the afternoon there are other teachers outside doing car loop pick-up duty. I know what you are talking about. When I taught, I too had a duty every third week. But that is not the case at the school with regards to Hailey's duty, or the other teachers there.

In any case, I agree that Hailey not being there on some Fridays doesn't mean anything. If you read my original post, I said it was just wishful thinking on my part. I imagine if she went away, it would be hard to explain frequent "going away for the weekend" to even acquaintances, when you possibly had not been going away prior to being on the show. I would think it would raise suspicions, something that the girls must be careful about until the show's outcome is revealed.

Happy, I saw the pic of the guy with the dog...is that what you're talking about? Can't remember where...Hailey's instagram?
