I think you can choose to love someone and you can choose to settle for someone, but who you are meant for is something you can't control - it's just there.

I like that quote though. It pretty much describes what chemistry is. JMO

I think there's a pretty big difference between what Tim said to Sara vs. what he said to Hailey. Sara was the one that brought up meeting family and he basically told her he knew his family would like her. With Hailey, he just offered up that he really wanted her to meet his family. To me it almost felt like that was him reassuring her that she was staying this week. I really think at this point in the game Hailey and Jenna are on the same level (though I think he probably does choose Jenna just because of those darn boxes!). Yes, there has been more physical connection with Jenna but it seems like he feels more sincerity and openness from Hailey. I think he probably sees that with Sara too but to me their personalities don't match up. I think the MM were spot on when they talked about Tim not being able to totally let loose and be himself with Sara. I think he gets the best of both worlds with Hailey.
If he ends up with Sara I will be very suspicious that they cut out a lot of their time together and we didn't get the whole picture of their relationship building.

LTS, I see that you noticed the same things that I did. With Sara, the focus is always on music and and Sara is giving a singing performance. Tim stated that Hailey was first to understanding him and to me that is huge. Btw, Tim made it clear that he wanted Hailey for more than comic relief. One thing that the MMs stated was that Hailey progressed in her relationship with Tim, that is what we looking for Which lovestory is progressing.

If we did not have "evidence" pointing to Jenna, I'd put Hailey in the #1 position with Jenna behind and Sara a distant third. She's better for back up singer

It seemed like when they were dancing that Tim seemed to follow Hailey around or visa versa. Maybe it was editing too and Hailey is pretty outgoing. More so than Sara. I read somewhere that Sara wished she would have had a few more drinks before the dancing. Something like that!

Is it bad that sometimes I feel like she would have done better without Amber? Sometimes it seems like she has all this conflict in her head ... it has to be hard to act natural when you have your MM inside your head telling you that what feels right to you is wrong. The precious part is that she really tries so hard to take her advice. I loved when she said, "well you had 3 chances to get rid of me and..." haha

I think Hailey would fit in with ANY family, she's awesome! She's got the greatest personality, love her jokes, she's caring of others (even though they can be a threat to her and Tim) she's gorgeous...perfect for that special someone.

Girls, this might not be the place to be so open, but today something really beautiful happened and i wanted to share with you since it has some commonalities with this Tim's story and the reason behind my often "understanding" of how things might have played out on RFL.

Years ago I went through similar love "triangle", that involved a guy-friend (for who I had feelings for), a girl-friend and a friend in common (also a girl). If I follow my predictions of how RFL plays out, I was "the Hailey" in my situation, my good friend who later happened to walk out of my life with a guy was "the Jenna" and our common friend was definitely not as kind and gracious as Sara, but still a very dear person to me.
The problem in our triangle was a mix of lies, untold things, misunderstandings and misconceptions, feelings of betrayal, disappointment and rejection. My story ended with me losing 2 friends (now a couple) and remaining a friend with this "common" girlfriend who couldn't let go of the past, when I tried to move forward and make sense of it all.
It took me some time to forgive and to find reasons in me for things that didn't make it work, it took me time to be able to appreciate again our time together without feeling empty and hurt for relationships lost. I found my peace and I moved on.
Yesterday I had a meeting that changed things for good and I feel so much more grateful for experiences I went through. I thought of all the people that once were part of my life and won't be able to see me grow and blossom and participate in this new life chapter that I embark on.
After all the years, today coming home from another meeting, I've met this lost girl-friend (Jenna one) and she told me about her continuing relationship with her boyfriend (my lost best guy friend), how much they miss me and think of me often and how it's such a shame we had never sat down and discuss, put cards on the table and apologized for things that might had hurt us.
So she and I did it. She explained how much she felt guilty over the past years of not being completely honest with me at the time and mostly how of all the people I was the last one she would have ever want to hurt, and many more things. I made my own amends. And we promised to meet tomorrow again and for the rest of the month, all three of us, before he moves to London and she leaves for Italy and I go back to my home country in search for new adventures, knowing that sometimes you lose a friend, gain a friend and sometimes some bonds never break. It makes you smile.
Be compassionate to one another!

CHO, I agree. Tim seems happy and in love, as well as all the girls on his season. They have all moved on with their lives and seem grateful for the experience. They also have some great lifelong BFF's so it's a win win for all!

I still can't see a clear picture of how this is going to end when I watch Hailey and Tim together. I see and understand all the things that lead to Jenna being F1 but then I watch Hailey and Tim and I can convince myself of a different scenario. My main hang up is the final ceremony pic of the girl in the blue dress being serenaded by Tim. That sure looks like Jenna. I see their body language but if and I know it's a big if - the producers were trying to confuse us - (bach programs have done this) - an initial chemistry with Hailey is shown - the dumb and dumber and the laughing and kidding on episode 1 (her teasing him about hard to write a song about someone when you don't see the good looks in them, and comparing notes about liking down time in their talk) ---- and then the producers have to bring in the physical edit (Jenna ?) to divert our thoughts from Hailey - he is so happy and so passionate with Jenna - doesn't want to spend any time with the others etc. But Hailey is shown in every episode - even the next episode for Tim (was that ep 3) Hailey is elected to go down to the garden again. She really has gotten a lot of face time. Maybe she has been given all this time because she is loveable and she is fertile ground for the matchmakers ! But I also can see Tim taking his time - maybe he is attracted to Jenna but wonders if they have anything other than the physical to keep them together. Is she too young? Does she really understand what his lifestyle is all about? His ex was young and look what happened there ?
When I watch Hailey's and Tim's interractions, I see Tim as being very comfortable and relaxed --- and he is saying things to her face. Stay who you are - don't change; we could have an hilarious time together; maybe there is something more than just a friendship. All that he has said to Jenna is that whatever it is between them - it was instantaneous. I know this can go either way - he could be telling Jenna that he is overwhelmed by how much he feels for her etc. And maybe with Hailey - it is just a long fun time knowing each other - but no romance...

But (also) - I look at the water picture and that is a pretty close embrace for a friend who he obvously cares about and doesn't want to hurt (I would think). I can see with Sara - he is being careful with his words so he won't be misleading her. (my parents would love it if I ended up with someone like you .... but would I (Tim) be happy ??)
And what is Tim saying to Hailey when they are kissing while they are painting the picture in this last episode - he is saying something sweet to her - or maybe they are laughing because they have to kiss for the producers to keep the story going - I don't know. But there is a comfort and happiness when Tim and Hailey are together that I can see. End of ranting !
