So I'm going to post some more stuff that makes me continue to lean toward Jenna as F1. For those who don't believe, this probably won't change your mind. But this is the Jenna thread, so I'm going to show things that support my girl.

You might recall that Jenna did get to go to the Fun. show in Austin on February 12. Many of us thought this was a nice little VD treat from her rocker boyfriend. Earlier in the day she tweeted this though:

Jenna Reeves ‏@imaJENNAtion_ 12 Feb If I didn't get to see Fun. in LA a few months back I would be in an utter state of depression for missing tonight's show at Stubbs's (Jenna did end up being able to go as her later tweets show.)

I got to thinking about this. When did she go see Fun. in LA? I think it happened right before she came back to Austin after finishing the show (Finale was August 14).



So again, it's interesting that Jenna gets to do such fun things (no pun intended) on a recent college grad's budget. When would she have bought the tickets, when she had no idea what her life was going to look like due to the show? Now I know that some here will argue she got tickets through connections through NBC/Eva/someone who had connections from the show. Maybe. But just maybe, her new rocker boyfriend wanted to do something special with her before she left to go home...before she left on her trip to England with her parents. Sometimes a rose is just a rose. Certainly Tim would have connections to get in the the show at the last minute. Also, she also seems like a very happy girl for someone who just "lost" Tim if she's not F1.

What are you listening to these days?

A buddy of mine turned me on to Father John Misty. I’m really liking that. I’ve been listening to the new Fun. record. I do listen to a lot of classic rock, still. But there’s an Austin band called Alpha Rev that I really like. I’m kind of all over the map. I listen to a lot of singer/songwriter stuff, not a lot of pop music, even though I’m playing in a pop band. I tend to be moved by the storytelling in the singer/songwriter style of music.

I realize this is the Jenna thread but just to keep things interesting: as has been discussed, Sara recently changed her twitter profile. She now identifies herself as a singer/songwriter and says that she does not do music to get a recording contract but to share her stories. That being said, Litta, as I have indicated previously, I think you have built an extremely compelling case to support Jenna as F1

I realize this is the Jenna thread but just to keep things interesting: as has been discussed, Sara recently changed her twitter profile. She now identifies herself as a singer/songwriter and says that she does not do music to get a recording contract but to share her stories. That being said, Litta, as I have indicated previously, I think you have built an extremely compelling case to support Jenna as F1

The bold part was always part of her Twitter header because I remember how I thought that was kinda nice... this was since we started sleuthing the original SC's anyway. The singer/songwriter part might be new, I can't remember, but the part I bolded was always there.

Has anyone else noticed that Tim hasn't been commenting on the show? I mean his family made an appearance this week and nada. The last time he said the show was "good" was the Santa Barbra episode and last week all he said was he didn't agree with the guys decisions (meaning he should have sent Siham and not Sarah home). Is he even watching anymore?... I would think he'd watch the episode that featured his family.

IMO he kinda seems over the whole thing at this point and just wants to get on with his life and his choice. OR he pissed about how they are editing certain people.

^^ Good point, noobs. Yeah, that is a little weird if you ask me. Tim's strikes me as someone who would be protective of people he cared about. He's talked in interviews how he was a little worried going into it that he could be edited poorly.

If his F1 is Jenna, he can't be happy...heck as a Jenna supporter, I'm not happy. How much more if she is in fact his girl. You're right, his silence is deafening.

Since this is the Jenna thread I will speak from that perspective and assume she is the F1. Jenna is getting a lousy edit, they are not showing their love story, the show was cancelled, there's the Eva scandal and to top it off in 2 weeks some people are going to think he's a jerk for leading poor sweet Sara on. In reality, he may have been torn between his head and his heart and that story is on the editing room floor. I'm sure there are all kinds of places he'd like to take her after this is over and he has had to wait a ridiculously long time to do so. Maybe the show kept getting pushed back in NBC's schedule and he didn't realize this would go on for so long. Happy he met her and did the show, but done. JMHO

Thanks, Noobs. I know it has changed because it used to say something about loving iced tea - I don't remember the part about the recording contract being there but I will take your word for it. My point though was that she talks about using her songwriting to tell stories which Tim indicated in the article referenced by Litta he's into recently. And as I said, I realize I am not in the correct thread so will hush now.
