Tim indicated in the Huff post interview that his relationship was progressing at a steady pace. Additionally, he has said his family and close friends know who his F1 is and that he and his F1 are in constant contact. I think that these facts are indicative of Jenna as F1. Living in the same city obviously allows for more discreet opportunities to see each other especially before the show aired. I don't think the relationship could have proceeded at a steady pace if his F1 were living far away. I'm thinking they have had lots of private time to get to know each other better. This is why he seems so happy with the results of the show.

I agree and think it's the main reason these two might be the only successful couple to come out of this. Ben said that he hardly saw his pick and that at one point it had been over a month since they had seen each other. Another thing Tim said in the Huff Post interview was that it was the easiest relationship he has been in. It seems the strain of long distance just isn't there, in fact he made no mention of any problems between him and his F1 at all. Some might not agree with me, but I think it does play a factor into their decision. I think Ashley and JP worked out so well because they lived near each other and no one had to compromise their location/family/job. I also agree that with both residing in the same city they were able to have more of a normal dating life then a couple who live hundreds of miles away would. He was definitely intrigued the moment he heard she was from Austin. I like it.

Remember the post I made the other day about Jenna's friend Eirian? If not see the top of p. 6 in this thread. This girl also comments a lot on Tim's IG.

I finally found proof (see below) that Eirian is indeed a friend of Tim's as well...so Tim and Jenna both have a mutual friend in Eirian. This girl remarked on the VD photo, "eirianalison Sincerely wishing I could like this more than once, @tombropez. Great shot." So again I ask, how insensitive would that comment be if Tim did not pick Jenna? Unless Jenna is abundantly happy not to be the F1 and thrilled for whoever Tim picked. It just doesn't fit...

Yeah wow, she comments on quite a few of Jenna's i-gram pictures. I think this should be a no-brainer for him (but what do I know :Smiley: ). He found a girl he's has instant chemistry with, has mutual friends with, lives in the same city as, and (here's where I get quirky) shares a penchant for guns and mustaches. He would be crazy not to explore this possibility post show. JMO

I can actually see where she's coming from, she sees the connections others are making with Tim (MM's make sure of that) she's guarded and in it for love, but she's making sure too...they both have to fit or it won't work. Do they want the same things in life, etc? They def. have the chemistry down, now we'll have to see if they have what it takes to make it long lasting. Does she handle herself with the other girls well, no, but none of us are perfect...and she'll learn from the experience.

Call me crazy, but I still don't see the chemistry with the other girls/Tim like I do with Jenna.

Not to offend, but Siham's comments made me roll my eyes. She's known the guy for a month and he's dating a handful of other girls. Forcing those emotions are exactly the reason why 9 times out of 10 the Bachelor doesn't work. Reality sets in and you realize it was all one big mind game. I agree that Jenna definitely could have been more tactful, but I don't disagree with her line of reasoning.

Yeah she came across a little crazy. I think Tim may have thought so as well with his response to Ready for Love Tweet. They asked if we agreed to the decisions this week and he replied "No". Maybe after seeing her little display he was shocked.
