Great to hear! Oh, at first I thought it was comparing to the trending to Sean's season. But, wow 196% is impressive.

Oh, I'm sure his got more.

The producers had better start making good use of social media if they want to see any increase the ratings. The general lack of excitement, from Des and the producers, as opposed to how it was with Sean, is already putting a damper on the season for me. I hope they have a plan.

I think it would be better to realize that this season started on Memorial Day and The Bachelorette never gets the same ratings as the Bachelor, because it's on in the Summer.

The audience always builds throughout the season- and Mem Day is very tough to premiere. I think they'll be fine as the usual summer drivel appears on the other networks. The usual groups who watch might have been involved in Mem Day bbqs, etc.

In response to the ratings discussion, I posted Des' numbers in comparison to past seasons.
There is an argument for the fact that premier episode was Mem. Day Holiday and might have pulled in lower numbers due to that however higher ratings usually coincide with premier episode.

Des: Premier episode May 27, 2013 attracted just 5.8 million viewers and scored a 1.9 rating in the adults 18-49 demo.

Yes he is in Spain he posted on his twitter at that time of ^^ ago, lt sounds like he was there 3 yrs ago and wore his "board shorts & white rimmed shadess" comparing what he wore then and now "#shirtless"
