I may be wrong but it appears to me that she stayed for a couple of hours at the party, had a great time, then went home to Sean. She responded to the tweet about her clothes at 10:00 last night in the past tense. Best of both worlds! Fun night out with the girls and then possibly a little time with Sean.

I agree. Both of the other girls who came with Catherine had their husband (Jason with Pandora) or boyfriend (Mike with Scheana) come along but Sean couldn't make the effort to spend time doing what Catherine wants for a change, even though it's her Birthday weekend--probably because DWTS and his other 'work opportunities' seem to be his top priority! I too was a fan of this couple from the beginning but his recent actions have made me question Sean, though I wish Catherine all the best! Glad to see her new friends from LA are trying to make it a fun Birthday for Catherine! celebrate

Here's an idea, maybe just maybe Catherine, knowing Sean had a super busy Saturday between flying back from NC and rehearsal, didn't invite him to come long to the event. Perhaps she was perfectly content with them spending time together outside of this event, thus why he went to rehearsal and then took his dogs for a walk.

I still don't get the notion of feeling sorry for Catherine. She appears to be having the time o her life both when she's with Sean and without him. Besides they appear to spend more time together than all my roomies do with their boyfriends. Heck, one only sees hers ten days out of a month because he travels so much for work.

well it justs seems that the only time they are together is for dwts then he spends most of his time rehearsing it just seems to be all about him even on her birthday it will be about him and if he gets voted off he will be in a bad mood and then she will have to cheer him up if it was the other way around and cat was doing dwts i do not see him putting up with it like she has hopefully he does something for her birthday hopefully he remembers it is her birthday

Sean was up tweeting before 7am eastern time yesterday, which was 4am pacific after a very long day on Friday. He flew back to Cali and had his normal practice with Dancing with the Stars. I would think he would be exhausted. I honestly don't know how people keep a schedule like that let alone attend an event that night.

It just seems is the truest of statements.... and is truly in the eyes of the beholder. We can track Sean's activities pretty well through his day.... yet, there are many hours usually unaccounted for when he is not at rehearsal- and he is most likely with Catherine then (people spot them at the Grove, walking the dogs, etc). Catherine is not wasting away in her apartment when Sean's not there- she's been out making friends! Let's not forget that the first 4 months of their engagement they could only see each other about every other weekend- for a few days. They learned early how to be apart, how to trust one another, how to communicate. Catherine is a confident, no-drama woman. And she may prefer that Sean lavish his love on her privately- since after all, it's about them, not about us.

I agree with both of these comments. He had to be absolutely exhausted. And maybe he wasn't even invited just Catherine. As I said above, by her tweet it appears as if she was home by around 10:00 so fun time out and then home with Sean. I think we have gotten spoiled by the fact that she is in LA with him. Most of the time the couples are not immediately in the same city. It was at least a month before Ashley moved to New York and even then she did some pretty grueling commuting back to Philadelphia.

IMO I wouldnt b a bit surprised that she does her outings when he's doing his rehersals and then they meet up afterwards. Like he said it's a job to him right now so no different then what a couple would do away from reality tv in real life. You wouldnt take your partner to work really. Right??

yes but in a regular job it is about eight hrs not 15 and he would not be up close and persoanal with another woman

...the guy is almost close to dying prancing around for God knows how long...lets give him a break...

thats why he loves his dogs so much....coz they're not demanding...and neither is Cat for sure...

I know that this "Mike Shay" guy is Scheana Marie's boyfriend but it's nice to see someone taking the time to tweet about how much fun he had with Cat. There's a nice pic of the two of them he posted on twitter. (A little part of me wants Sean to see this and be just a wee bit jealous giggling

Actually, a lot of people work very closely for very long hours with the opposite sex and are able to keep their relationship a work relationship. And MANY couple have long distance relationships where they are rarely with the one they love (just like Sean and Catherine for the first four months of engagement). It all depends on the mindset. I truly get the impression that Sean's a one woman man. He may have dated 25 and whittled it down..... until there was THE one. Don't see him letting her go.
