can someone tell me what the stipulations are if and when they get married?

Like, for example, when they got engaged, if they break up in less than 2 years (?) they return the ring.
How about when the couple gets married??

I'm not sure. I think the basic contract that the participants sign is for a year (I've seen past participants plan celebration gatherings for the year being over- often the ladies). The wedding and ring have a two year time frame.... still together after two years, keep the ring. Get married within 2 years- ABC has rights to film OR you can choose private- but then you can't sell the pictures yourself (ABC has all promotional rights). I have no idea if the ring belongs to the couple outright as soon as they marry if it's before 2 years.

I do know about the ring clause that if a couple breaks up within two years they must return the ring, although Jillian got to keep hers (whether she paid to do that I have no idea).

I don't know if there is an extension to them being under contract beyond the two years if they marry. I'm guessing if they get married within the two year period then once the 2 year mark hits, they are no longer under contraction. If a couple got a televised wedding outside of the 2 year period, I imagine they are under contract til after the wedding airs. The main portions of the contract have been posted on various forums online, but I don't remember the last time I saw it so much of this is speculation.

Somewhere I think I read that TPTB hold an option to extend the contracts up to a certain point.... which is probably what they do with the chosen one (e.g. Catherine), matching him/her up with the lead. If the couple were to blow up before the year's up, there's little reason to continue the contract, but they would probably try to retain "rights" up until a wedding. When Ali and Roberto were still in wedding mode, there was lots of discussion about how long before they could do it on their own (and sell pix, etc).
