I still believe she is a lovely lady, but the timing was inappropriate and disrespectful to what was happening. It's not about her addressing it, it's about her apparent lack of awareness or sensitivity to what was happening at the time.

I sincerely mean no disrespect with what I'm about to point out, but in the 4 days subsequent to the bombings in Boston, there must have been at a minimum a hundred or more posts on this site that had all to do with a reality television show (or shows) and the contestants on said show(s), and nothing to do with Boston or the victims of the bombings (I readily acknowledge there were a number of posts expressing concern and thoughts for the victims as well). You may very well have been in the group of posters who submitted posts that had nothing to do with Boston. I know I was in that group.

Do you believe the posters who addressed the goings-on amongst reality show participants notwithstanding what was happening in Boston were being disrespectful or insensitive in light of what happened? If not, how is what they did any different from what you are chastising Catherine for doing? In fairness, maybe you believe we were all guilty of being insensitive to some degree and you certainly have a right to feel that way without anyone telling you otherwise. I'd only point out that it seems a bit unfair to single out Catherine for doing something that a significant number of posters on this site, including me and possibly you, have been doing.

Again, I am sincerely not trying to be disrespectful in any way and apologize if my post comes across in that manner.

No offense but I don't know what's wrong of posting shoes in tweeter and instagram while the whole nation is mourning for the Boston tragedy? What's up with that? So it means if I posted or tweeted a pic oft bag , book or shoes or my new dress at the time that Boston is in the mid of danger upon hunting the other suspect I already disrespectful ?- . I mean I think sometimes just because people are not saying anything or acknowledging what is happening doesn't mean they are disrespectful .For sure they are aware of what is happening . If the case that cat tweeted first about shoes before retweeting the Boston related is a sign of disrespectful because it's too late . I don't think it's easy to single out her post. People can still enjoy life in this situation . The SOuthern Women's Show Richmond announced the change from Sean to Catherine and some people are clearly not happy. I'd be happy to see either one of them, but clearly most of the female population would rather see Sean.

Yeah in majority because he is the bachelor . Most of the people will be there are women . I think sean bringing cat is just icing on the cake lol. Plus not all is catherine fan. They would prefer sean than cat being there lol. But in reality by Sean's hectic schedule and catching his dance rehearsal he needs to do the best . Cat replacing him is the easy solution . I am not sure how people will welcome cat although I have a feeling not that much excitement for the people who are excited to meet and greet sean lol. I hope cat replacing him this Sunday goes well . Enjoy cat -:)

I can tell you that three women that will be in attendance will be ecstatic to see Catherine instead of Sean. It will be nice to get a new prospective on the past mos and what the future holds. Please bring on questions and I will do the best I can to get them answered. So glad it's Cat. Even though Sean would have been nice to look at also. lol

Re: boston tragedy and C tweeting about shoes.. I totally agree with L. You can not single her out for doing that in light of the Boston tragedy. This site was as busy as the millions of people all over the world watching the news. It did not stop members from posting pics news updates regarding the couple in the midst of what is happening in Boston. It is not lack of sensitivity. We all have different ways of coping and supporting people in this kind of circumstance. If continuing to live our life just the same despite and inspite of what is going on in another country then we we are all guilty of being disrespectful, that includes DWTS and all those who watched it on Monday when it continued to air at the very same day the tragedy occured.

I don't want to start a fight, or continue it because everyone has the right to his opinion. BUT I have to say that I agree that she has the right to post something that isn't related to the Boston tragedy. We have to continue to live our lives. We cannot allow them to control us. That is what they want.
I lived a short distance from the Aurora theater where the shootings took place. I posted about how sad it made me and that I wished comfort and sympathy to the victims. I probably also posted about what else was going on in my life.
They want our attention, they don't deserve it . If my son had been in town he likely would have been at that midnight showing. It scared me ALOT. It also made me very angry that I was afraid. I haven't been to a movie since. That also makes me angry. He doesn't deserve that fear
When they re-opened the theater they invited the survivors and the families of the deceased. At first I thought that was wrong. BUT the people who went said they went because they didn't want him to WIN: that they were going to live their lives DESPITE him.
We should all be so brave and know that these people cannot win. We must live our lives, happily and without fear or they get what they wanted and they will do it again.
