We are supposed to get the N'oreastern starting at midnight. Rain. Wind. Snow to the northwest. 
Sounds like a lovely day for me to stay in my jams. 
I like rainy days. I don't like wind. We have a mini generator.

I'm lucky I mostly work from home so don't have to worry about travelling in bad weather.

of course, tomorrow has to be the day of my scheduled about once every two weeks visit to the office.

@KB_Mom I'm sort of in the same boat. Lucky me, tomorrow I do have to travel.



@Kashathediva perfect day for jammies. I plan on doing that Sunday. The Oscars are on and I like the red carpet. They are starting earlier and earlier! The last award show in January they started at 3pm.

I hope the rain is out of here by morning. I've got 2 guys coming to take out the carpet and put down the laminate in my office. I don't want them tracking in and out of the house with wet feet. Good thing about it though is that this is the last room to be done! I'm on my laptop right now because I tore the desktop with 2 monitors down. It has been a heck of a week getting the office cleaned out to minimal furniture! My spare bedroom is loaded, stuff is in the living room and the computer/monitors are in my bedroom. I will be without internet though while they are working since the modem is in this room. Not going to leave it in here while they are working!

Retirement does have its benefits... don't have to go out if weather is bad. I've actually been able to take Peyton for a walk every day since Monday until today. Felt good for both of us.

It's quite the job to move around computer devices modem's etc and put it all back together. I've done that a few times in my life.

Tomorrow starts daylight savings time here. So we moved all our clocks ahead one hour at about noon to not forget. 
I went to take a nap about 2ish and I woke up and saw the clock said 4. I said wow that was a great nap, I feel so refreshed, I better get up so I can fall asleep tonight.
 I just now realized I woke up at 3. So in total maybe I napped an hour. Now I wished I napped longer! 
Damn!

@Kashathediva I always change my clocks around supper time for spring forward. Trying to psych myself out because I don't want to loose an hour of sleep. But then I end up going back and forth, ok it's really 8pm and not 9pm.

I read something about Florida possibly not participating in standard time ? I just thought about that. I need to check that out.

It's been 8 yrs since we lost SDL to a tragic death.

As always, we will remember him on the anniversary of his death. He was a unique poster, to say the least. Wishing his family and friends have found closure in his death and have fond memories of him. #RIP
