You are probably right, although I've not, thank goodness, experienced either one, and I'm WAY over 50!! I too am grateful to get up each morning and be able to go about my day, sometimes a bit slower than I would like, but still carrying on!!!

If anyone is in Hermine's path, please stay safe. I was just reading the updates, and it's not looking good. Get yourselves to a safe place. It's always best to take full precaution's and hope it's not as bad as predicted.

I think quite a few members could be effected in some way as it is headed from Florida panhandle up the east coast.

Hoping that anyone is Hurricane Hermine's path has or will be spared great damage and inconvenience.  This storm is a big one, coming up the eastern coast all weekend.  Stay safe!

The Canadian Forces Snowbirds flew over Niagara just after 3 o'clock today.

The Snowbirds are Canada's military aerobatics or air show flight demonstration team.

The program started back in June 1971.

They are scheduled to perform in London, ON this weekend.

OMG another lunatic on the loose? Or a terrorist? The mayor of NYC said he didn't believe it was terrorism; same thing they said in San Bernadino. Who knows anymore? How sad for those injured and for the neighborhood of Chelsea in Manhattan.

It is, indeed, beyond understanding.

We live in a crazy world.
The other night we were in NYC for dinner with friends. It was the same night the meat cleaver guy attacked a police officer. And I mean attacked his face like he was butchering a side of beef.
We had to drive through a lot of gridlock to get to our cross town destination--and then at 11 pm to get out. The city that never sleeps or obeys traffic lights.  Cross walks jammed with walkers. Bags of refuse lining the streets. Everyone in their own bubble.
I am actually surprised more craziness does not occur there. For the most part, it is pretty sane.
