Oh dear, why? Just why??
I am like GA and Kasha, I need to block it out, in fact, I haven't watched or read the news in 4+ years. I just couldn't handle the negativity. I do miss a lot of what's happening, but this works best for me.

I can just imagine. Upset

My sister and I are the only two people that I know of, who've never embraced FaceBook.
My thoughts are with all of the grieving families and friends of these dear policemen.

I'm another non-Facebook user for many reasons. I closed my account a while back due to intrusive posting by people I thought were friends.

This brought it way too close to home for us. Our oldest lives in the downtown area and was doing a show at his comedy house. It's not too close to where it happened but enough so that they locked down after the show. He and his gf were able to make it home a couple of hours later thankfully. At that time they didn't know where the snipers where so they could have been chasing them anywhere in the area.

I'm also overloaded with tragedies involving guns. I know other countries have them but not to this extent. In any case, my heart going out to everyone involved. sad

Here we go again. Awful awful attack in Nice, France. Thirty killed, over 100 injured when a large truck plowed through crowds of people celebrating French holiday, Bastille Day. Prayers for them all.

Half of this world needs an intervention. Crazy illogical lunatics murdering innocent people. It's heartbreaking, it's sad that mankind treats others in this manner.

Prayers once again for everyone affected.
