There was a terrible shooting in downtown Dallas tonight. Snipers shot at Dallas police at a peaceful protest march. 11 officers were shot and 3 have died. So sad. They're apparently have 1 suspect cornered in a parking garage and shots were fired. There may be a bomb plus 1 sniper still at large.

It is overwhelmingly sad. During the Orlando incident, I had all the news turned off for a few days. I was overloaded.
So listening to the Dallas situation this morning, brings everything back in waves.
It's a very stressful world.
All I can do is my minuscule part daily to make me a bit better and hope that ripples out for a greater effect.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing this morning. The last few days with the other incidents have been incredibly upsetting, now this.

I'm like you Kasha, I need to avoid it sometimes, it's too overwhelming. I feel so heartbroken for everyone involved.

They all need our prayers.

It's so sad how these types of things have become the norm. Every day I turn on the news and its a new tragedy and it seems like for as upset as people get, there are no visible solutions. I'm not an american, but I just pray that people everywhere can recognize that these acts, not just there but all around the world are not done by just one race or one group of people and as individuals and a society take an honest look at ourselves. I can only speak for myself but these things are so disheartening to see. I want us to all do better for each other.
