Thank you all. This board is a community, as much friends as those in real life. I appreciate all the support and I am very lucky to have a wonderful hubby as well who is helping a lot. But thank you all, it means so much, now to stop crying again...

^ I'm a crier....many times I wished I could just stop.... but since sometimes I just can't... and because I use visualizing and symbolism to cope with a lot of different things, it has helped me in difficult times to think of every tear as a tiny piece of the pain leaving my heart and brain.

Stuck, I am so sorry for all this, especially at what is usually a festive and happy time of year. Dealing with the disappointment of your new job is one thing but having your brother die on the anniversary of your father's death is awful. I'm glad that your brother opened the door to conversation after all these years. It's always said there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Sending you hugs.

I don't even care that this is the first time I see the S word, when I can go out in a sweater, and the temp's have a 3 in front of them!!!   Extended forcast for the coming week, 50's!!! Sorry kiddies, no snow this year. Santa doesn't need snow anyway!

Oh that's great, GA! It's been quite warm this December month. Not complaining here either.

Nice weather, GA!

Today's high here is 65.  That's the coolest it's been in weeks and looks like the low for the next week too.  It's predicted to be 85 here Christmas day.  I am by all means a warm weather girl and halfway through our southern winters (that don't compare to y'all that have lots of snow and ice, so definitely not complaining there) I'm dreaming of spring and summer, but during the holidays (from Thanksgiving on until the New Year) it's nice to have at least chilly, long sleeve, light weight jacket and scarf kind of wearing weather.  

Can I send you about 20-30 degrees to warm you up, GA and cool us off down here?  It's looking like it's going to be a shorts, short sleeves and flip flop kind of Christmas around here this year!  I should be used to it, but it's sometimes difficult to get into the Christmas spirit when you start sweating every time you walk outside!

LB, I called them my white sand Christmases. I loved going to the beach on Christmas Day, but in GA those temps felt weird to me then.

Either way, happy holidays for those who don't Christmas and a Merry Green and Sunny Christmas to those that do.

It hit 5 miles from my house did severe damage to cars, houses, poles , and trees. Pretty damn scary !!!
