My son-in-law just got "the nod" to leave his office (NYC). He is the only one on the train to NJ. giggling

It's not like it's bad yet, they are just shutting down in prep for an easier clean up.

NNJ got spared. We got about 6 inches where I am. Manhattan is going to start mass transit up again and CT/Long Island are functioning. All travel bans are being called off. I have yet to hear of power outages. I think the storm must have gone further out to sea and up the coast--the Mass area.
Many friends and my daughter are in health care and they have been at their jobs for 24+ hours now, hopefully things will straighten out soon and they can go home and get some sleep.

I'm not sure how he got away with this because usually there are authorities with handcuffs if anyone tries anything stunt related.
