Normally I would have said no way can it be Chris because we clearly saw him in the back of a limo. But hey Brooks is in the back of one too but everyone is convinced that is not the end of the line for him and that he is F1. Therefore perhaps Chris has a chance of being F1 as well.

He does, for sure, but the thing that Brooks has going for him are four separate very sure spoilers, plus a very obvious connection that they have on the show. That may be the only things he has going for him, but Chris can't say that.

To each their own if she wants to choose Chris over Brooks. Even though, I, personally would think she is a madhatter.

But that preview, as whacked as it was, didn't highlight Chris, or even Drew. It was all about Brooks and Des. And ended with a pinpoint focus on those two.

I don`t agree at all but everyone has their own opinion.

Ha ha! You are not alone. I bet if we had a vote here, I would be part of a 10% minority.

Also I read your latest post above and, yup, tons of Brooks in the promo. So... you know I won't exactly "argue" with you. Just state why I think it is Chris. They may not be the reasons you need to be convinced ... and that's fine. I guarantee though... if I happen to be right, I certainly won't rub it in your face because my own nose of full of gravel from past seasons... LOL! Hey! I am not 100% certain of anything.

Everything I post here won’t mean a thing to the MAJORITY of you simply because we have ten different reliable sources confirming differently. I am not knocking the sources. SOMETHING was seen happening at the FRC location that was fooling the snoopers. However, what is shown on screen is not matching what is being reported. It also is not jiving with Desiree's body language in interviews. There was a reason Jimmy Kimmel jokingly said Chris was "out" on account of almonds before she was able to react in any way.

I was OK with Brooks being F1 up until Munich. Then it suddenly dawned on me we had another Ali/Roberto situation on our hands, confirmed in that poem in episode #6.

Yes... we can argue body language here. Brooks acts like Marlon Brando with her on screen and Chris like Mister Rogers with his sweater, but the editors can be so deceptive. So many were sold on the Emily/Arie Love Story last year.

Also I was baffled as to why Zack Kalter was given so little screen time. Well... I kinda understood why. They may have gotten along TOO well in their alone time and viewers would be furious at her for eliminating him. That rose ceremony in Atlantic City was one she appeared to be crying a little. She was tear-free escorting Brandon the previous week. Apparently she was zeroing in on his biggest competition (i.e. creative writer, reserved personality, ex-baseball player). All of the photos from the dodgeball date had her groping all over Zack, not Chris... probably on purpose.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJVlxnaevns&feature=player_detailpage

Key line at the close of that ceremony: "Atlantic City has been so good"... not that we saw all that much apart from Chris' high heels and poetry reading.

According to her poem, it was the dodgeball date that marked the turning point, but for me, this quote in episode #5 (after Bryden left) sealed it for me:

“it just makes me question the guys I really do like and want a relationship with. I wonder if they are going to be here for me or they are going to decide one day to pack up and leave… and it hurts, but I’m not going to let Bryden affect my date with Chris. Not at all. I just want to get back to Chris so I can feel happy again.”

With that statement ALONE, she tells us:
-yes, a guy leaving will hurt her a lot
-no, it will have no impact on her relationship with Chris (regardless of his pecking order in her mind as finalist or future dumpee)
-she already needs Chris as support

Also “For Chris to tell me he is here to the end, y’know… it makes me confident in us.

What she could have said was “confident in HIM”. This is clever pronoun word play. For example: Ashley Hebert comments on a conservative Taiwanese outfit for Lucas because he’s a conservative guy and it is well suited to “him”, but JP lucks out on the wedding photo date with a tux since it is the best outfit for “us”.

Those Fleiss sickos... and the editors are sick... sick! sick! sick!... do this consistently and burn the innocent viewers constantly. I have plenty of scars. Desiree says Zak W. has all of these great qualities she sees in a husband, but says in Munich: "Today was so hard on me but I'm so happy that it was Chris on this date and nobody else because I can trust Chris with my heart. He's supportive, he's kind, he's romantic… he's expressive. He's everything that I could want in a husband."

The pronoun business continues when she discusses her dates with Brooks and Chris:

"I really like that today’s going to start off with showing Brooks my life and giving him a little slice of what it is like to be in my shoes. It is really important for the guys to know that I have a desire and a passion to design wedding dresses. I really want Brooks to see that part of my life.”

“I’m really excited for today’s date to explore Munich with our trusty phrase book. We will look like silly tourists. Today’s date is the perfect day to start this week and I couldn’t have picked a better guy for it.”

I know... This Is SOOOO NOT Right, as James would bellow. Manny and Jan on his Atlantic City date bring up the theme about getting through the hard times (i.e. hurricanes) together, but Desiree tells Brooks "You kinda have to go through the hard stuff to get to where you want to be." As if encouraging to go it alone. (All of America will see him do something pretty big come finale time, I am quite certain of it. What it will be will no doubt be “dramatic” as Harrison says.)

Discussing the kissing, which looks so much more passionate with Brooks than that dull poetry writer dude, the way it is described clearly indicates how different these connections are:

Brooks: “This could be the first kiss with somebody that I spend the rest of my life with. That’s a beginning to something that can really be as grand and amazing and idolized as this Hollywood sign.”

Chris: “I am slowly but certainly falling in love with Des and I think it’s mutual. She doesn’t have to say it. She can say it through her kisses. She can say it through her eyes. I know it is happening. This is real and this is happening.”

I know these are just words, but sometimes you have to pay close attention to them. I think Desiree has a lawyer telling her what to say so her future fiancé won’t get upset… or something. I dunno.

I am not Murasaki but I know she would be over the moon reading JBF's latest posts above :cutesmile!: I know I am, coz we do love our Chris...although I'm trying not to raise my hopes up too much lest we get crushed come FRC time.

Seriously, though... dull poetry writer dude ? .....come on, JBF giggling

So, with this line of thinking can we say she "wanted" Brooks, but she "needed" Chris? And Chris, being the baseball player that he is, "came out of left field" for the win? Just speculating to have some fun.

Who's to say Brooks isn't. Bottom line, we don't even know what happened. So far, Brooks has been just as consistent.

The only thing I don't understand is the argument for brooks because of their chemistry??? Am I the only one missing their chemistry??? I mean sure they definitely like each other but I saw someone post that its passion like they have never seen??? Umm!!!! U haven't seen much passion in your days I'm guessing.. Also looking at the pics I her with chris in the water, laying in the beach, on the boat??? That stuff looks pretty hot to me for her to have been so set on brooks as her f1.

All of Chris' revealed pics makes things too obvious. Just what is needed to throw someone off the scent since spoilers are here to stay. I think it's building Chris up to gain popularity of a potential next Bach. Many might not understand why Des let him go vs her F1. All SC's are scrupulously screened before releasing. All previews are designed to gain interest. By design IMO a lot has been revealed that Chris is most certainly there for FD and LCD like he was spoon fed to the sluethers . Too obviously?
