Thanks and Scooby! It doesn't sound like my cup of tea, but I can see Cat totally crawling in the mud with Sean in this event after seeing her play in the snow in Canada! Maybe next year they will do it together!

Oh, I think it has been mentioned before that Sean´s cousin, Brandon and his wife, Casey were in LA supporting Sean, but I don´t think this pic has been posted yet:

Just met Catherine- yes, she is a sweetheart;

Hope this will get back to Shay and they will influence her to change her mind about Catherine.

What could Catherine have possibly done to make Shay not like her? I don't understand?

It's hard not to notice Shay's silence on Catherine as she has been vocal about everything Sean-related except the most important person in his life right now, Catherine.

The strange bit is that Shay has come across as a very sweet, adventurous, intelligent, kind and generous person in all her blogs, tweets, interviews, press and throughout the 2 shows. However, she has been very silent and indifferent in public towards her brother's fiancee. It's hard to reconcile the 2 images of her so there must be something she knows that the public doesn't.

This is just a statement of the facts...not an over analyzation:

Every single day since the Finale and After aired, Shay has made a choice not to post one single statement in show of support for her brother and Cat. On any given day, she could have made a different choice. But she hasn't. Those are the facts.

I'm not even going to begin to analyze the reason for her choice. It is what it is...

ETA:The reason I'm not going to begin to analyze is there could be a multitude of reasons, many of which I have no context for speculation.

I believe it was right before the finale aired that Sean blogged about her infertility and the blessing of her children. The tabloids took that and crack reporters that they are suddenly had Sean donating sperm (I guess to a surrogate) so Shay could have children. I think after that I'd avoid too much sharing- look at what you all do with her silence or neutral writing. Just think if she miswrote or misspoke (or mis-chose) one word..... at least with silence she doesn't find her way into the tabloids (unless one of those reporters reads this blog and decides to blow things further out of proportion).

It's now been almost a month since the engagement was public. The horse is dead.

It is what it is. The post of Shay's friend here in this forum kind of rubbed it in. It is like a confirmation of what many have suspected.

Hmmm... Over analyzation or not, fact is for a future in law she does seem very cold towards Cat. Just one instance of publicly welcoming Cat into their family she didn't do considering she was blogging about everything during the season and gushing and declaring love and affection for all she met in LA. If she was such a fair person and does have reservation regarding Cat then in deference she could at least tone down her gushing about people connected to Cat. The difference is glaring and really questionable. The same can not be said vice versa to Cat's sisters for one they were not blogging about the bachelor all season long... That said, I am not standing in judgment of Shay. Just stating an observation and views on her about face.

i don't know how Shay really feels. But isn't it common for the sisters to not like the brother's gf/wife/etc? it's just human nature. ;)

plus, who cares if shay likes catherine or not, why is this even a big deal?
