He was probably desperate to give her a hug.
Although it seems like she's a pretty crier -- like Channy!

I don't understand why she's so upset? She has her guy and she has got to know TPTB won't let these guys leave no matter what because they have a show to make. Why can't she just chill and ride it out til the end?

I guess their psychologists work overtime to drive her loony though because she was fine and happy with Ben and on the group date and then all of the sudden, she's enraged on the 2:1 and needs Bentley's "comfort" ASAP.

It's probably just the humiliation of the whole situation she's upset about. What I don't completely understand is why the guys are all that upset. If she was still considering taking Bentley back at the cocktail party, then I could understand. But if she got closure and it's all over and done with, then I don't see what the big deal is. He's no threat anymore. I'd be more worried about the guys that are still in the game that she has feelings for.

As we know, Ashley is an VERY insecure. Hearing that the men aren't interested in her and want to leave feeds into that insecurity. Hey, I'm a pretty confident person in relationships but this show would screw up my mind for sure!

Other side of that coin being Ashley put the screws to the guys and thus the negative vibes, which I would not blame the guys for by any means

Watched the new preview and it looks like Mickey walks out on her.

Is it on the ABC site? After watching the clip where Mickey asks Ashley what she sees in this guy, meaning Bentley, I started to wonder if he just decides to leave. I remembered that the spoilers from RS say that Blake and Mickey leave next week. Knowing that Mickey doens't seem to be into Ashley and she doesn't seem to be into him, I got to thinking that maybe this business of Bentley returning is the last straw for him. He was getting annoyed over Ryan, so finding out that Bentley has returned after all this time, just might be it for him.

If she was still considering taking Bentley back at the cocktail party, then I could understand. But if she got closure and it's all over and done with, then I don't see what the big deal is. It may be quite possible the guys are angry because she tells them she asked to see/talk to Bentley for closure, not that he wanted to come back. They would feel played! I get that!

Ashley may run up and greet Bentley with open arms because she thinks she's going to return to where she once was with him, hence the kiss. Once she talks with him, I think reality will set in, and she'll realize she has stronger feelings for "the other guys".

I hadn't thought of that. That would make a lot more sense. It could be like the whole William situation where the spark just wasn't there anymore the more she talked to him.

I have to keep reminding myself that she thinks he left because of his daughter but wanted to keep the options open (silly girl). Also, while I believe the Ashley wanted to either talk to him/see him again.. she was blindsided that he was in Hong Kong (if not and I'm being played then I will admit it). Plus, she already had a comfortable physical element so maybe the kiss was just like shooting the breeze. (all JMO)
