This is easier for me.  I may be in that woman's age range, but my kids are in middle school and high school, so a man of 26, while quite young, doesn't yuck me out with comparisons to my son or his friends.

I laughed so hard at those pictures.  Setting aside the potential "cheating on a girlfriend" issue, the pics didn't make me think bad of Brooks at all, but it showed how little Reality Steve knows of a good chunk of his fan base.  Because, really, while none of us WOULD kiss a younger guy like that, doesn't at least a little piece of us want to believe it is remotely possible a younger guy might want to kiss US despite our age and "advancing" looks?  I mean, half of us sit here and drool over these guys ... And there is RS going on and on about how disgusting it is ... Steve, Steve, Steve, don't you know better than to insult your readers?  Let us aging women hold onto our fantasies, regardless of how unrealistic they are, without rubbing it in our faces how unattractive we are supposed to be! Fine to joke about the age difference, but the woman doesn't have to be panned on her looks.

And I seriously doubt he would think it was gross if the roles were reversed and it was a 50 yr old man with a 26 yr old woman. Double standards piss me off!

It was a bet that Brooks lost.  There was a reason pics were taken.  That's all it was.

I don't know more than that. Someone was just kind enough to reply to an inquiry I had about it and that was before the RS blog was put out. I was going to post what it was going to be about, but didn't want to assume anything either. Just wanted you guys to know!

I'm not sure I'm buying that unless they were trying to be cruel. Kind of like high school guys asking the chubby girl out for a dare. Do I think it makes him a horrible person? No but it doesn't impress me either.
