About this show. I really wouldn't worry about Brad. Seems that it will be the 'mother' of Maddex that will get it more than Brad. It depends on what the phone call was like. If it was yelling and screaming, they will use it in the ads and show. One season (Jillian's) Ed (final 1) was the one with the male 'disfunction', but the show made it seem like it was Reid (final 3) in their commercials.

This show has already two guys on it with girl friends at home. Bryden made it the furthest and his gf knew he was going on the show. Why he didn't leave after Brian, I don't know.

This show creates a lot of fake drama. They will make it look like a woman/man is crying over the lead and it's over something else. They have dubbed comments made at other times into another converstion. There could be a book made off this show. Brad actually should be glad he didn't get very far. Those that go further tend to get more attention.

I say that Brad just keep a low profile and he will be pretty much forgotten the next episode.

Oh I know. And I am not worried about Brad. I just mean this show in general. None of us know Des and to think that she might get hurt on this show cracks me up. She knows what she has gotten herself into with being on the Bachelor before this. And just from what I see, I get a feeling that Des isnt really in this to find love. Maybe that would be a "bonus" if that happened. Maybe the money? According to RS and Wet Paint it was rumored that Ali got paid 6 figures and they are also offered lots of indorcements right after the show. Or maybe to further her career, The fame of it, etc. I am not putting her down by all means but I do have to question her motives. So IMO this show is actually just a game... But I will watch this season and maybe the show will change my opinion. I guess we will see. But if Brooks isnt smitten with Des I highly doubt it will be the end of her world.

I don't think they get paid very much money. There are opportunities that could be found from the show, but it's just a myth that they get six figures.

In Ashley's season, there was a guy named Bentley (from Utah...yes, this show gets a lot of them from Utah and they usually are the bad apples). He went on the show saying he didn't want anyone but Emily (but Emily was Brad's pick at the time and not avialable to do the show). When he saw it was Ashley, he said that he'd stay on the show to just mess with her head and didn't find her attractive AT ALL. Called her ugly, etc. Ashley didn't know this and was falling for the guy big time. When he left on his own, she really fell apart. It was her greatest fear that the guys would be mad it was her and not Emily on the show. Thank goodness JP was there. He really was into her right from the start. I love their dates and HTD. If he wasn't on, Ashley's season would have been a diaster. People were ripping her to shreds.

That is really sad and very disrespectful. But the thing I have a hard time wrapping my head around is the part that she falls apart after he leaves. I am not trying to sound heartless but I cannot imagine having feelings like that for someone when you only know them such a short time. Des season has only been filming for 1 month and they are down to 3 guys. How long was that guy there before he left? I think you can establish who you like the most or who you connected to the most in a short period of time but to be so heartbroken over someone you just met like that seems really weird to me. And maybe that money is just a myth but how can Des leave her job for the amount of time she was on the Bachelor and now the bachelorette and still pay her bills?

Sounds like it! I will see if I can find her season and watch it. Wish my college age son could go on the Bachelor to help pay for his college expense. Especially now that his touition assistance was taken away from him due to the Military cutting back. Yes, sore subject for me!
