I think that poster was referring to another contestant being home. There is some confusion. I am working on it.

Found this fun picture of Brad and his son from last summer! Thought I'd share!!!
Well be still my heart if he isn't a little Jake Jagielski (what up OTH fans!). *Sigh* a guy with a little one always makes me swooon. I would think Des must like him to keep him around. Normally, if a lead isn't interested in a contestant with a kid they are let go early on.
I guess for right now I really like Brad, Brooks, Kasey... how ever will a girl choose!?!

OK, now I'm really curious! Are these real spoilers?
Anything I post means it's Just My Opinion. Don't feel like posting it every time I post. So, I thought I'd get that out of the way.

I guess we don't know any of the contestants that are still there. I'd hate it if Des didn't give Brad a chance and get to know him and if they make a match worth pursuing regardless of him being a dad!! Truly this show doesn't give Des time to really get to know the guys. So I'm keeping fingers crossed that even if she doesn't want children now that she would find the value in getting to know Brad even with his commitment to his child. It is definitely a very strong positive quality in a man to be that involved with his child! So as you stated if the lead isn't interested in a contestant with a child they go home early I'm really hoping that's not the case with this contestant because he is someone worth getting to know.

If Desiree (or ANY woman) knows that she is not (yet or ever) looking for a child, she is doing that child a favor by not getting involved.

I'm sure Brad and all the other guys on her season with kids are fantastic guys.
Now if Desiree happens to fall in love with one of them then that is great also but it is hard at 26 years old to enter into a relationship with a child already there. :hidingchair Does that mean I think it couldn't work, absolutely not but it makes it harder.
It worked for Jason and Molly but Ty also spent half the time with his Mom so that allowed them to work on their relationship.
Whom ever Des falls in love with I hope the feelings are mutual and not because of the famous Bachelor Bubble.....

I totally agree. But on the other hand I know that Brad would never fall for someone that wouldn't accept his son. Especially when Brad does raise him alone. But honestly? Does anyone REALLY fall in love in 2 months? That part is hard for me to understand but hey if it happens all the power to them :)

I agree, with the bolded. I think it is to be a starting point and looked upon that as such. The real relationship begins once the Bubble is burst and you take it out in the real world. Then that is when they really get to know each other and that is why no matter what we see on the TV screen it is what happens after that they either build on or go their separate ways.
We know from the odds that chances are it may not work. I think one of the reasons the ette works better than the bachelor seasons is because there is not much time from when the filming ends and the show starts so that seems to be able to help them make it past the end and on. Fingers crossed that Des finds THE ONE!!

Jason Mesnick had and still has custody of Ty. The mother gets him on alternate weekends and certain holidays.
