"ETA: Brooks and Chris look like shoo in for F4. But maybe because they are too beautiful, but based on looks alone and pics alone, they don't scream ready to get married to me. (I know nothing much to go about..) Maybe this season is just for dating which is perfectly okay with me. "

Realistically, two people liking each other enough to exclusively date at the end of this experience is good enough for me. I feel they have to make it in the real world first before any talk of engagement....but that's just me :Smiley:

Doesn't seem that is what the audience wants though. Seems like the audience wants an engagment. no idea

Otherwise, other shows that focus on just 'dating' would do better.

Either way, I have a good feeling about Des and Chris. We can't have an 'army' of Facebook people disappointed, right? Anyone know if Chris enjoys hiking like Des?

Atem, absolutely, an engagement is what the audience wants. The fairytale of finding your one true love and subsequently getting engaged is a powerful story and that is what draws the viewers in, including us. The romantic in me would love for all of the couples that come out of this to have their happy ending. However, the realist in me knows that the situation/timeframe within which things happen in the Bachelor/Bachelorette shows is far from normal. Thus, I'm not really surprised that most of the couples don't make it even if they did fall for someone while on the show.

IMO its not something u can jump in w/both feet, 2 months (ave of mayb 2 days w/ea) is limited time w/ea guy just isnt enough time only to get a feel of what the future could real end up being whethter engaged and the marriage (in the near future). But it all comes down to Des on how strong her feelings towards the individual are and about the end of her jounery if the out come is what she thought her journey would bring her. Its a big mountain to climb with such limited time put on it.

I've heard Chris and Des have hit things off extremely well and as of today he has not been eliminated. I don't know if this means he is top 4, 5, 6 or what but lets just say that he is still up to bat.

Whoop whoop! Can anyone say future hot tub scene? Rawrrrrrrr! Go get him Des!
