I am pretty sure they all "know" of each other prior to their being selected on the show.
I do not know if M(EMily) knew about F before filming. I do not think so. But again, do not know.
This show is known for approaching certain cast prior to filming and laying out the role they would like them to "play" for the season. As a cast person, you don't have to go along with this. You can choose to leave and not be a part of the show. It was done Jillian's season at the very last minute--prior to the Meat and Geek. Another bach stepped in at the last minute.

It's a discussion that may happen over and over because if you're just starting to read the Des threads, it is impossible to go back and read what has been posted for the last several months.
You can tell by the initial small number of posters and the current steady increase, most people check out in between seasons.
Thanks to those of you who have kept it going and for your excellent sleuthing skills that have continually provided the latest and greatest info here first!

Anyways, even though I might be here alone in still really liking Brooks I'll be really happy if Desiree found love with him. If it's true he's F1, I wish them nothing but the best. :inlove

I really enjoyed seeing them on the date from that preview. I see lots of chemistry between them! Des was all smiles with him too!
