I have a serious question.

Someone comes on the board and posts they know the guy...maybe they do, maybe they don't. They call other posters haters and denounce what these posters say as crap. These posters have been on the board since it's inception and are well regarded as sleuthers who have sources and find out information.

They are further denounced as haters by others and the poster who has ONE post regarding the subject (and who was attacking of other members in that one post) is invited back. SMH

I personally invite everyone back - I like opinions of all kinds. If someone thinks their opinion is right they shouldn't give up on the forum. I enjoy the anonymity of the board but do recognize SOME of the long timers and know that with anonymity there can be issues. As always thanks to Love and San - they are great.

I don't look to pick a favorite. Honestly, I could not tell you one guy from the next's photo or who is a single dad and who isn't.
BUT--
If I find something on any cast person I feel it's fair game to post--is it only ok to share and sleuth things that certain people want to see and forget the things they don't want to see?

I certainly like to hear all that is uncovered about a contestant. It's hard not to take offense when off the wall accusations are made about someone with zero evidence to back it up. I don't get it? It's fine to post it but that doesn't everyone is going to like it. I would love to hear from someone who actually knows Brooks or Chris or whoever. Some have proven they are friends with the contestants but they quit posting and I really hate that. So my advice to them is to ignore comments that they find hateful.

I don't have a serious answer for you pavalygurl.

I was just commenting on sleuthing in the Final One thread. Sleuthing is in our bones, once a sleuther, always a sleuther. We used to sleuth the outcome before spoilers were the norm. Now we're mostly left to sleuth the contestants when the season has been spoiled before it airs. The reason for sleuthing the contestants is because we know MF is going to serve us with single dimensional edits. It's nice to get a more rounded picture of the contestants. MF will give us at least one evil contestant, once dastardly contestant, one sympathetic contestant, etc.

I remember when someone that knew 1F and didn't have glowing reports about him, saying he wasn't ready to settle down because he liked being the millionairre bachelor. He was not well received, nor was his information.

Do I care if Brooks has an agenda that's not necessarily looking for a wife? Heck no. Who really is looking for a spouse on this show when they sign up for it? If it happens, great. But MF will try to sell the only reason they signed up was for twue wuv. Nothing wrong with exposing the man behind the curtain (MF).

If a member attacks another member contact San and I instead of discussing their offensive post on the main board. We will handle it.

I think a good idea for anyone that wants to support a family member or friend of the show is to have a facebook page. Sort of like Team Chris/Desiree. It can be set up just for the person and it gives a way to have people to know more about your family member/friend.

Nope, it's Brooks. The photographer mentioned on her facebook in late March that her friend and one of her models (Brooks) would be on the show.
