They call the guys families who have the potential for HTD (meaning still there) about now... but more probably get that call to start preparing than actually get a HTD... e.g. Doug talked specifics about a HTD with Emily on the Prague date, but clearly didn't get one.

FYI...one of my closest friends's son is on the show this year (sorry, not going to say which one), he is still on the show, and no they have not contacted families yet for HTD

Don't they only contact the 4-6 contestants that will mostly likely make it to hometowns?
