I really liked Alejandro! Also really like the acquaponics thing he's doing now & the fact he doesn't really try to use bachelor nation on social media to promote it. Just doing his own thing.

Yes, he's in Emily's season. I actually don't know his story-well a little bit of his mushroom farming but I didn't watch the show so I don't know (only watched here and there). But I did look him up a little while ago & he just seems super cool. I'm sure Diogo is probably the same way.

Alejandro was the only one to get the Shakespeare reference when they were in London. His business is the "grow your own mushroom" business that you see in Whole Foods and places- a very cool thing. I think he was too young (chronologically) for Emily, and I don't think right for her, but a very cool guy. I'm thinking Diogo is a very cool guy, too- renaissance man if you will.

I find her refreshing as well. Like someone else said earlier, Desiree does not remind me of any past bachelorettes. That makes her more unique and interesting. She has a genuinely sweet personality, without being annoying or too "sugary". Plus, she wouldn't giggle constantly at every guy like Ali and Ashley did on their seasons.

It's so funny you brought up Alessandro! I am meeting him for dinner next week to interview him. I want to find out who he really is, not the goon they portrayed him to be. When I talked to him on the phone, he came across as very intelligent and well spoken.

I told him that people don't believe his edit and he said, "I'm very thankful for that"! Will the real Alessandro please stand up? Ha ha.

I actually heard his family and friends felt very disrespected in the way TPTB portrayed him and his culture. I hope they don't do the same to Dioglo.

^ I dont know if we are talking about the same guy, lol. The guy I was talking about is Alejandro Velez, the mushroom farmer who lives in CA. I think the one you're talking about is the one from MN. But glad to hear he is much more than he was portrayed.

Yes, you are right. Alejandro was the mushroom farmer and Alessandro was the grain merchant. In any event, they didn't do justice to either of them and I hope history does not repeat itself with Dioglo. Can't say I'm hopeful, though!
