Maybe, her top 2 were the 'surprises' that she was talking about. I really do think Ben was a guy she was interested in, but what happened after him winning the group date rose to change that?

I wonder if she really was interested in Ben or if the producers were because he brought his son for M&G. Maybe they wanted to think he's front-runner and can't get rid of him too fast. Not sure.

Also, I guess James won't be getting a good edit. And clearly by his tidbit, he's not there for the right reasons! It'll be interesting to see Kasey/James go at it and probably again at MTA lol.

You know the show will be hoping for just that! They should be smart and play nice and piss the producers off.

I looks to me they are arranged by height to me! I don't see how anyone could know on night one out of 25 men who they will pick! I choose to think they don't show brooks or chris night one cause its obvious that she likes them, but that's just what I think of course!

To me, analyze of the pics and 5 to pick from Chris etc... never makes any sense and is always biased by personal views. Dont get me wrong! I am not criticizing personal preferences, but I always think that there is no logic to these pics and very little to anything Chris H does or says pre/during season except for selling drama.

We will not see anything to confirm a love story even if there was one. Just as we saw very little of it for JASH, SeanCat or JEM (whatever anyone thinks of these couples).

One example to make my point: Jef was beside Em in the group pic, and this was used by some to prove it was too obvious... Now Brooks is in the back, and already I hear that it is too hidden.

TPTB does not work to a set script year on year in my opinion! These early press stuff are there to draw the general viewing public by using whoever or whatever they think will attract viewers and making up story lines.

And I typed far more than I thought I would... stepping back from the computer now Smiley

To me the show tends to focus more on the storyline on the person they are interested in being the next lead more than anything. I mean, it's obvious that they are planting in people's minds 'this could be the next lead'.

I think it's hard to tell who will be the next bachelor right now. They want to see how the viewers will react to each of the final guys to see, and there are some guys in the final 4 who may not want to be the next lead.

Sure, the whole 'prank' thing was talked about a lot. Other dates weren't.

Apart from Sean's season mostly being the Tierra show, Desiree got more screen time than the other girls particularly in the later episodes.

IMO, Des was not someone I remembered much about on Sean's season. I guess that was just me though. I did lose interest in his season half way through though. Not being able to watch on Monday nights didn't help either!

Everybody wants to hide... ha ha!

Not going to debate any further about the M&G photos, except there are those "cute little coincidences" that always humor me. Pattycake, I don't necessarily disagree with you that it is JUST a coincidence regarding front row F1s... even if six Bachelorette seasons in a row is still... well... a little too "coincidental" for lil' ol' me. (Many people see UFOs and sasquatches but that doesn't mean they exist.) In addition, the Bachelor seasons are always scattered in their set ups. I do suspect, though, that Fleiss & Company is well aware that some of us are noticing these "coincidences" and are definitely changing up things.

Even the rose ceremonies which Bloomers and others studied in the past are not the same as they used to be, "pattern" wise.

As for the "ones to watch"... yeah, I too thought there was some logic with these in the past. I do think they are carefully selected for specific reasons depending on the season, but it drives us bonkers figuring out the "why". Most of us now realize they ARE mostly used to get viewers to start watching. I don't know why Juan Pablo is being promoted like one Des is "definitely" liking, but he does need a bit of "buzz" if he wants to succeed with some media attention (yeah, he may have other reasons for being here) and, heck, Fleiss and Harrison must really like him regardless of Desiree's interest since he isn't being promoted as a villain. I suspect that Reality Steve is correct speculating that there are six to eight guys that are good matches "on paper" with the lead and many others cast simply because they are interesting on camera.

Now maybe I should really duck behind the chair since I should not offend anybody here thinking this show is 100% real and honest, with professional matchmakers selecting the cream of the crop (all across the country and abroad) for Desiree. I wonder what crop of guys Natalie Clarice would select for her.
