Every time someone is booted off the show they become the "front runner." First it was Sarah, then Lesley, now Des. Next week everyone will feel sorry for poor AshLee and CH will say she is now the front runner. TPTB will make sure Lindsay's exit will be edited to be especially heartbreaking and then she'll become the final "frontrunner."

Jake wasn't exactly a fan fave or a front runner to be the next bachelor and after Brad's season Ashley was the fan fave or the front runner either. TPTB could care less who the public wants to be the next lead they want the person that they feel they have the most "pull" with and that they think they can manipulate the most into doing what they want.

Les & Des (LOL) for next Bach however I also think it would be great to see Kacie B get her chance.

Was Desi a fan favorite

I think that Des was definitely a fan favorite this season, and I think it's between Des and Lindsay for Bachelorette. While I think Lindsay was the original pick, she hasn't been a hit with viewers. A lot of women (the overwhelming demographic of The Bachelorette) don't seem to like her, and I think that's made Fleiss strongly consider his other options. Men may think she's hot, but men aren't the ones watching the show and driving the ratings. They need a lead that the women who watch the show will want to watch, and right now, it doesn't look like Lindsay is their best choice for that.

I don't think Kacie has any chance of being the Bachelorette. She wasn't as likable on Sean's season as she was on Ben's. Kacie's shot to be Bachette would have been last season, but when they gave it to Emily Maynard, they basically closed the door on the girls from Ben's season. I don't see them going back to a previous season when they have so many great girls from Sean's top 6 to choose from.

Die-hard fans will watch. The different girls appeal to different people for different reasons. A lot of the likeability of the different girls is dependent on how they are edited. I didn't especially like AshleyH on Brad2 mainly because of the way she was edited. And, of course, I loved her season. I really liked Jef, Arie and Sean. Was Sean my first choice from that group? No, but I have really enjoyed his season. I would never have guessed based on last season that he was as goofy and nerdy as he is. They have such a good group to choose from, I doubt they can make a wrong choice. It may not be my first choice, but I will probably enjoy their season. They will always have a male Tierra to draw the viewers in.

Well technically Kacie B has been on Sean's season so if they are going on last season when choosing the new Bachelorette then I think she should be as eligible as anyone.

However it wouldn't bother me if it was any of the top 6 from Sean's season.

As much as this show can be questionable with some of the decisions with Bachelors/Bachelorettes and their F1's... it amazes me how a guy or girl can narrow it down and majority of the time the final 4 people are just awesome people. It's great.

I thought with the exception of Courtney the trio of Kacie, Nicki & Lindzi in Ben's season was just too hard to choose from.

Again with this season. Ben, JP and Constantine were pretty decent guys on Ash's season and of course look at Emily's season with Arie, Jef & Sean... they do seem to keep around the good people on the show, which is something I don't think they get enough credit for.

If I didn't already know who was the F1 in this season, I'd be pulling my hair out because they've all been great since Tierra left.

Hi, Liz.... let's keep it to the F5, okay? Though I believe that F6 (Tierra) has declared herself ineligible with her engagement.

Moonchild, I just wanted to comment on that adorable little child at the bottom of your screen, the one who is walking the dog, drops the leash, turns around and goes back and splashes in the water one more time!!! That made me smile. That is just too cute for words.

I watched that for the longest time the other day and even showed my grandson... I LOVE it!!! : )

Please Fleiss, either Lesley or Lindsay if you are going to choose from this season's heartbroken bachelorettes. Or Sarah, that would be amazing! There's something about Desiree that I can't put my finger on, but she comes across as a bit of an actor to me and not sincere. I do feel she's probably had a tough life, like a lot of people growing up in poverty, which is more common than not around the world these days. And she's done quite well, she makes beautiful dress designs and apparently bridal stylists must get paid well, judging by the look of her home/pool in LA. (Are you sure it wasn't a Bachelor exec's home?). She's already in the media, doing the typical story that they "groom" potential Bachelorettes to say: "We didn't really have a connection looking back, I can't wait to move on and start dating again", exactly what Ashley H., Deanna, Kacie B (still clinging to hope she may The Bachelorette someday), Ali have all said at the ATFR interviews. I have this sense she was in it the whole time to nail the "big" gig, The Bachelorette prize, and that once they saw Sean wasn't really into her, started grooming her for the role right away. I think the brother may have been brought in to purposely create chaos, except he went off script... whoops.
Please, not a phony. Pick someone genuine. It never hardly ever works out, at least give it a chance by not using someone looking for their 15 minutes. (ie. Ben - said same thing at ATFR).
