Yup, I was responding to the part about "next episode" since the discussion already explained the reason she made it to Canada after her engaged-to-anyone comment.

^^^ Sean has too much compassion for his own good in this case.

It's interesting that Courtney said nearly the same words to the girls at a cocktail party before HTDs. I remember b/c it was one of the more sane things she said. Hmm, hmm. I wonder if Tierra will end up on BP4!

Maybe but as jcrbil and I were discussing the other day on one of the threads I gotta believe that much of her staying at this point was mostly producer driven. In spite of Tierra receiving the group date rose last episode, I thought Sean was a lot less effusive with her at the RC cocktail party so I would conjecture that he was already catching on then.

You got it, but the storyline will read that he felt pity for her. Keeps him as the white knight.

In the preview, even the bar scene when she sneaks up on him appeared to me to be staged, like he knew she was coming. I think, like Courtney, Tierra is playing her role until the bitter end.

I do wonder if she was in the storyboard all along.

I do think he might be manipulated by production to keep her- I think he's just really confused by the whole thing, but she's on the road to self- destruction. On the other hand "they have a show to produce"- Sean says that himself.... so she gets just enough rope, but not enough to hang herself (metaphorically speaking, of course) until St. Croix - Sean is probably kept in the confusion/ need to be sure/ I know I don't want x, y and z here anymore (in LL). I think producers get the lead to picture how the season's going to play out- at least a couple of steps ahead and it's really hard to paradigm shift when you're tired, trying to keep relationships straight, etc.

And I have heard Sean say in more than one interview (as many of the former leads have also said) that the schedule was absolutely greuling,

Sean wanted Tierra to stay which is why he gave her the GDR. He didn't give Katie a GDR when she asked to leave the show. He didn't give a rose to Amanda after she went to the hospital. I think at some point the producers did encourage Sean to keep her there for the drama, but not at this point in filming. He wanted her there because he liked her.

Unfortunately, I think you're right which makes watching it nauseating to me - knowing that such a sweet, genuine guy is getting played by her. He knows the production drill so the fact that she shows up somewhere uninvited isn't a shocker or deal breaker to him - he knows how the show rolls.

However, based on the look on his face in the latest preview (that aired during GA last night) - -where he overhears her conversation -you can tell that he's totally taken aback by her comments and perhaps is truly seeing another side to her for the first time. One that's eventually a game changer. Until then, I think he was so smitten with her and her "charms" that he was blind to her antics.

Maybe it's just me, but I dont' really mind Tierra all that much **shrug**

IMO - she doens't even begin to compare to Courtney or Vienna... she's more of a Michelle Money or a Blakely... not the friendliest with the girls, but over edited, cuz that's MF's modus operandi..... the show must have a villian..... and it's getting so freakin' old.....
