Episode 4 - October 24th - Discussion - Spoilers

Rose ceremony. Two to leave.

Brad comes out wearing a pink vest under his jacket...Yuck. He will do what is best for him under the circumstances.

Kara gets first rose.

He is serious, staring into space. Puts the rose back down and excuses himself.

Host comes back out and tells them that Brad needs more time. He is having a hard time deciding. Cue the girls photos ... who can he see himself with long term.

Come back ... and Gabby gets the rose! I didn't see that coming, but maybe when I go back and watch the first part, it will make more sense.

Ana leaves. Big hug. He is sorry. She is more confident and how he makes her laugh. Thinks her mom is looking at her from above. Ana smiles.

Brit is sad but she will get over it. She has been herself.

Brad knows he made the right choice and is looking forward to meeting the families.

Preview for next week...Huge week...previews of each of their dates. Going down the bob sled run with someone...you'll never forget this! Belly dancing with Gabby and the folks. Picnic with Bianca...It irks her that there are 3 other girls. How do I make that better for you? (Again with what he can do? She has got to be F1 unless something comes up to really screw things up!) Rose ceremony he wants to talk to someone first. (Showing Whit.) He doesn't know who this person is. Scan of all the women. End shot of the women discussing what is the city of love after the first date card. They are dumb. Don't know what city it is. Someone thinks NY...no that is the big apple. They think they would not take them to Paris...Montreal? Someone says maybe there is another city of love...Gabby...loving her smart mouth...What other city? Oakville, ON ...No, it's Paris as she rolls her eyes and strokes her hair.

wow, so what about PEI and more than 4 girls there? Seems to be a missing episode happening here.

He wants to see her soft side. She doesn't verbalize her emotions well, but her trying to means a lot to him. He likes her and when he is around her he likes her more...Naturally, she accepts the date rose and can't wait to have him meet her family ... and cue ...

It does seem that something is not adding up with the episodes and HTD being next week with the FRC scheduled for the 28th. Maybe they will be skipping a week or the WTA will be a two part special.

I totally did not expect Gabrielle to make the f4. I figured the other three but not her.

Is this show doing bad in the ratings? Or in Canada, do they not expand the hours like the US did with noticing how well it did?

If the recent history of Bach USA is any indicator of current BachCan performance, then your guess is good.
Simply put,
- if the prominent female is dynamic and likeable, she'll be F2, getting the F2 "personality" edit, with the F1 getting the "hidden" edit
- but if the promiment female is obnoxious or b*tchy, then she'll get the villain edit but be F1 anyways.

Sprite, I would like to thank you so much for all the time, thoughts and effort you put into blogging about the show. I think I look forward more to your writing about it than actually watching the show,, if that makes sense. I just wanted you to know I'm grateful for all you do on here. ; ) .

It's such a shame really. Why do guys go for obnoxious? What is it about demanding, high maintenance girls that is so appealing to a nice guy like Brad? Do they seem more out of his league and therefore attractive because they seem so unattainable? I think that was it for Ben vis a vis Courtney.
