I don't recall a F4 contestant ever becoming the lead. Let me check to see if that is accurate though.

Ali and Meredith were both F4 I believe. Jake was F6 as was Bob I think.

Thanks! I was just about post that Ali was, but I had forgotten about the other contestants who didn't make the F3 that eventually ended up becoming the leads.

I think Lindsay has the Bachelorette gig pretty much locked up at this point, but you never know. Maybe, Desiree will become a fan favorite too.

I don't think any runner-up has the gig locked in - we haven't even seen her on-screen. Much of what we have heard about her comes through her friends and family. Any of the top 4 girls can become a fan favorite, IMO. Also, you never know who ends up finding love right after filming, and isn't able to be the lead.

I personally think that Desiree seems to be a bit more reserved and conservative than the other girls, and probably won't be the lead, but I guess we'll find out!

I think she's really pretty, too from the pics I've seen of her.

I agree, she is. In EW this week, CH talks about how she is a "guy's girl" - loves sports and is very natural.

Sean and Desiree have a pretty funny connection. Desiree is an aspiring wedding dress designer, and obviously she's never had a chance to stitch her own gown. But she's not that crazy bride-to-be. She likens herself to a guy's girl - she can throw a football like nobody else. He likes that she has a feminine side but she loves to talk sports.

Here is the link to the picture, but you have to purchase the magazine to actually see the description of the 5 to watch. Unless there is another link I didn't see?
