IA..Sean has often tweeted about his love for local Tex Mex, Pei Wei and pizza indulgences. However, I do think he takes healthy living seriously - for personal as well as professional reasons. He gets paid to look good.

I'm hoping the same thing. It wasn't that I didn't like Sean I just felt we didn't get to know him at all. I'm not sure I even remember what his voice sounds like. His tweets seem funny so I'm hoping that we get a chance to see that side of him.

ITA. I felt Sean was highly edited, so that we didn't get to see much dimension in him. His tweets would suggest he has a funny side, so getting to "know" more about him is something I am looking forward to very much.

I get that you don't like the body-builder type, although Sean is far from that. But it's not fair to make up stories about him using steroids and some crazy diet. It's actually pretty easy to have a body like his without going to those extremes.

Agreed - I can't believe either Arie or Sean would agree to this unless it was done as a spoof. If not a joke-type thing and Sean agreed to this then, oh my, tptb are going to be busy, busy this season.

I could watch an entire season of Arie kissing, but why in the world would they do this to Sean? Even as a spoof, it will certainly bring attention to Sean's lack of technique. I can't see this as a nice way to treat the lead. That makes him more like 2nd hand Rose. How sad.

The producers will do anything if they think it will generate ratings, but I agree that this is cruel, and won't make either guy look good IMO, unless it's really done with a lot of humor, and tongue in cheek, no pun intended.

And I imagine if Arie had been the lead instead, in a similar effort to capture the viewership of Sean's fans, they probably would have Sean come on Arie's premiere and show him how to work out, which would be equally inappropriate. Shame on them.

I've never seen them do this before. The lead is the lead and that's the end of it. Wonder why?

This whole thing makes no sense, but it is what it is. It reminds me of the times they bring back couples to "help" the lead, like Jed on Jake's season even though they weren't friends with him at all. It's just a ridiculous ratings and drama ploy.

I think because this season in particular, fans were so split, and seemed so virulently behind "their guy", they were afraid to alienate the fan base of the one not chosen, so regardless of whether they went with Sean or Arie, they were going to find "an angle" to draw in the fans of the other one to watch the premiere.

I'm guessing Sean will be in the audience tonight at DWTS when they officially announce TB and Arie will be there in support of Helio. It should be interesting to see how they handle it and who gets more camera time.

I can see bringing in the couples to sweeten things up, but another bach/ette? Curious to see how it plays out. I wonder if it will backfire?

How would it backfire? Those that want to see Arie will tune in...then if they don't want to continue to watch Sean, can change the channel. And those that want to see Sean will tune in to see him, no matter who was brought in to help that first episode. And then you have those that just want to watch the bachelor and don't care who it is or who from past seasons will be there. Its a ploy to get more ratings from those that might not watch to begin with, so I just see it as a win-win for them...

I hate it when they bring in the couples for advice. The advice is so superficial and purely a ratings grab. At least if you are going to bring them in do something fun. Like they did with Emily's friends.

Good lord, it just crossed my mind- if they are willing to humiliate Sean with Kissing lessons from Arie, they could bring him in to go on a group date with a bunch of girls and weed them out for Sean. Run Sean, run!!! It's not too late until tonight....

Personally, if they want to bring on anyone to help Sean weed through the girls it should be Kensington and Smith. They were pretty tough customers last season.

For those that think I'm serious this is a joke. But if they insist on bringing on previous castmembers, I say reuniting SeanJohn is an excellent, excellent choice. You got that Fleiss.
