The Bachelor 17 - Speculation/Spoilers - Discussion

I don't know if I should congratulate Sean fans or give them my condolences. One never knows what edit to expect from season to season, and how much or little the lead will be bashed.
If it is Sean, I hope they show the more humorous side of him that we saw on Twitter.

Why would they need minority casting if it was Roberto. He is a Minority! If it is Sean I think they definitely need to bring that to the next season and Sean did say he was open to girls of color.

I think the recruiting would be to address the lawsuit, not to increase the minority selection for a minority lead.

Agreed - Well found Lav.

Oh man I'm not sure how I feel about this. I was hoping Sean would say thanks but no thanks. It might be a long season for us Sean fans considering he is already getting raked over the coals for harmless comments/jokes. I foresee a long season ahead of us. On a lighter note, can his dogs and his adorable little niece and nephew please make n appearance or 2?

I think RS dislikes a lot of contestants and is pretty snarky (which I don't mind, and actually kind of enjoy), but he has never really attacked anyone like Arie before. Not even Ed, whose shady past was actually proven and much dirtier, IMO. Just a curiosity, I doubt anyone really knows.

And, I'd be SHOCKED if he didn't snark on Sean. He has even said, in his videos, that he thought Arie was the funniest and Sean was kind of boring. I remember him saying, during Deanna's season, that he thought that Jason was a stand-up guy and would be the only lead who ever went in looking for love, and publicity or money (which quickly changed, obviously). He used to say that Brad was his favorite and he thought that he was a really honest, sincere guy, and he also changed his opinion to that of Laurel's.

ALSO, I'm totally not ready to assume that it's Sean! Yes, there's probably a 99.9% chance that it's him, but I'm going to hold out hope for Roberto until RS/official announcement.

Maybe the whole girlfriend thing was a cover, so it would appear like RS is wrong for awhile?

Why would they let Arie announce officially through his PR firm he isn't doing it prior to the TBPT annoucement? Kinda takes the wind out of their sails?

i stick to my opinion that Seanie and Kacie are way too good for this silly show as TB and TBachette. they can do way better in the real world. i believe they perfectly fit eachother and can prevent e.o from MF and co craziness.

i am so down today, that Sean would likely be TB. now counting down withdrawal days of my Sean-Kacie obssession

His attitude towards both Jef and Arie really is puzzling. I've posted some theories in the past, but who really knows.
