Based on Millsy's tweets, it looks like no PR is planned for Sean until January. I guess they suspected that the current bad PR was coming so there is really no need to heavily promote TB until near the end of the wedding window.

I imagine once the current break up stories cycle out, they'll start heavily promoting JP and Ashley's wedding to re-establish some kind of credibility and hope for a good outcome. Then, Sean's PR can launch in the afterglow.

I hope they put out the TV schedule for the show soon. I am still wondering if they'll actually debut on 1/7 up against the college football championship game given TB's recent lower ratings.

What season did the Bachelor say the wrong name of a girl?

Didn't Ben do that? But I don't think they aired it.

Ben did too! On his 2 on 1 date with Blakely and Rachel, he said he was giving the rose to Emily (I believe that was the name).

In the 3rd RC, Alex eliminated half of the contestants from 15 down to 8.

I could see Sean doing this one but can't remember if anyone since then has cut the cast so quickly.

According to TVGuide, it was the 2nd episode that he went from 15 women to 8. Then, in Episode 3, he went from 8 women to 4. And the 4th episode was the hometown dates. There were only 7 episodes in Season 1 including the Women Tell All.

Do you think he would cut more women an episode than usual and have fewer episodes than past seasons?

Could be. Futon Critic still shows the return of The Bachelor TBA in January on its winter grid and it doesn't list how many episodes are planned. In a couple of interviews, Sean stated how he doesn't like dating women - just to date - if he can't see them as a life partner.

The only other odd thing was that two friends of Alex moved into the mansion to help him with the process but there have been "decoys" in the midst since the first season. I agree that others have declined the rose since the first season, too.

A guy that doesn't like dating women goes on a show where he has to fake liking dating women he has no interest in? Yup, sounds like the typical ABC Bachelor! I really think only Jason (and Byron) were really committed in findng a wife.

You're welcome..the town seems aflutter about the filming. Based on an article I read today, they are going to film in Whitefish and the Flathead Lake area. In exchange for keeping things hush/hush..the town gets free publicity and really good film footage to use for their own travel/promotional activities.

The pics of the area that I've seen are stunning - especially if one is into the great outdoors. Jealous!
